Lot of 8 - # 8AM Mabor Cupel 1-3/4" Gold-Assay-Smelting-Refining-Melting-Cupels

Using the cupels I was able to refine some 14k gold scraps up to about 22k. They were super easy to use and worked exactly as they were supposed to.

I haven’t used these yet, but I read another person’s review, that these extract more of the contaminants in gold, leaving you a more pure gold.These are heavier and thicker than normal.They came in a “lpack of 8” for a very good price. They are #8 AM; 1 3/4 .... perfect for after melting a couple ounces of gold.

The media could not be loaded.  They work but they don't hold nearly the amount of lead they say they do, I've gone through 3 cupels trying to melt down some 14k gold, and the oxidized lead reaches the Rim and just stops... but the .925 I melted down did great, started at 5.17g, and got a 4.76 g button of silver,

Arrived early. Product was neat and secured nicely within packaging. Will be buying from again in the future.

Very well packaged, almost felt like prank wrapping, but everything made it without a single chip, and it came almost a week early!

The cupels arrived in an Amazon box with several other fragile products. The cupels however were badly chiped. They are poorly packaged from the manufacturer. One cupel is unuseable. Not worth my time to try and replace so ill leave this poor review instead. Cheers

Much smaller than expected but still does the same job. Just cannot do more than it can handle so need to reduce product to cupel.
