Golf 7 Iron

Very helpful club. After watching Scottie Scheffler using a 7-iron with a training grip before each practice session, I opted to get one for myself. Helps me check my grip and club path using this training club. I'm hitting the ball better during my rounds now as well.

I like this club because it helps align your hands position for good hand placement memory. It’s good quality for me at this point in my learning. I would recommend it for anyone beginning to learn the game of golf.

The stand out feature of this golf club is the grip, and I found the grip both helpful (as someone just learning to golf) and slightly annoying. The grip made sure that I was holding it correctly, which is needed, as I don't have good grip habits formed yet, and so I would recommend this club to other beginner golfers. On the other hand, there's a reason most clubs don't have grips like this, as it's slightly uncomfortable and annoying, which is a small price to pay for now, but I look forward to when this grip is no longer needed to teach me and I can replace it. Otherwise, the quality seems on par with my other China-made off-brand clubs.

It is the perfect product; we love it. Hopefully able make lighter in the future.

Grip is on the small side. You can still hit balls with it but hands were a little scrunched. Other grip trainers were more comfortable

The club feels solid and has good grip. Works well for practice and learning. Not as advanced as high-end clubs, but definitely worth it for the price.

This is a great item for people who are just starting golf and practicing their swing at the range. Even my private golf instructor mentioned that this 7-Iron with the grip is very useful. It’s especially suitable for those who want to develop a neutral grip.

I love taking my sons golfing and they enjoy it too, but I have a hard time getting them to listen to my feedback. This is especially true with how they hold the clubs as their instinct is to hold it like a hockey stick. This training club is very well designed because it essentially forces you to hold it correctly. The handle is molded so that your hands have to grip it the correct way. It has a nice feel and weight to the club and performs with the quality that I have seen in other Mazel clubs. Due to their being snow everywhere now, it will be a few months until I can fully test it, but happy with it so far.

I’m not a new golfer by any means. But I am self taught, and as such have definitely gained my fair share of bad habits in my swing. So I ordered this to help work on my grip. I can honestly and easily say it helps with that. I had a slightly weak grip and this club showed me where the problem lay and helps me to correct my grip. The only thing is, it’s attached to a 7 iron. So as useful as it is, it’s tied to a single club that can never really be used outside of practice. Which just makes the whole thing seem kind of impractical. A removable grip would be a much better option for a much lower price. Having said that, it works and does work well. The question of value will largely be up to the user and what use cases they may have for it.

Grip on this golf iron is shaped purposefully to be easier for grasping on when learning to practice swinging out on the course. Head on this 7 iron also feels fancy using shaped metallic rear while being practical for shorter range driving. Handle grip is mounted onto tapered rod which gives aesthetics a classic vibe. I was slightly mixed about its golf grip since shaped markers feel comfortable to hold while practicing but also tend to get in the way and rubberized texture is stickier than I anticipated. At 37" length the golf iron is comfortably sized for practicing being robustly machined out of metal.

This club is well made and using it is definitely a good way to learn proper finger and hand placement. The craftsmanship is top notch. There are no imperfections, the grip is solid and firm, and the low center of gravity helps increase force. This coming summer I will be taking it to a family golf tournament, where there will be new players that will also benefit from using this club. Overall, this is a well made training grip golf iron.
