Call me cheap, but I love this little machine
Haha! My favorite grinder at home. Say what you want, but fancy grinders belong to the coffee shop... If I buy my coffee not ground, it is for the freshness and if there is some unnoticeable change in flavor due to my grinder... so be it... can't beat the price on this one... it is consistent, I can set up how fine coffee grounds should be, it is automatic if I want it and cleaning is a breeze... removable grinder cup with blades, can rinse it under water and done. I bet none of the $100 grinders can be washed... I wonder how that affects the taste of the coffee...

Excellent quality, control, and value
We had a Hamilton Beach grinder for years, but the thin cover broke long ago. It recently quit working. We wanted another Hamilton Beach grinder to replace the good one we had. This is far superior to the old design. The cover is much sturdier. The machine is far quieter. It is also much better for controlling how small or large you want the grounds to be. We find we use far fewer coffee beans with this grinder because of the way we are able to grind them better, having more enhanced flavor and great control over the size of the grounds. Between saving money on coffee beans and the fact the price hasn’t gone up that much over the years, we are very pleased with the value, durability, and overall performance.

Great deal
I was very impressed with this inexpensive coffee grinder. It is easily set to the specific grind for your coffee method, it runs automatically, timed to stop when done, has removable dishwasher safe parts that that lift out of unit so no need to move the unit to load with coffee or wash parts, and it's made of attractive stainless steel. Couldn't be better for the price.

Worth the price
It’s a small thing, but after two months I’ve been so pleased with this product that I thought I should write a review. When my old bean grinder broke, I bought an inexpensive one that turned out to be too small (who even knew these things came in different sizes?) and felt cheaply made. This one is plenty big enough to grind beans for a large pot of coffee, it feels sturdy and durable, it’s surprisingly quiet, and it has preset grind levels that are—at least in my experience—consistent and just right. An excellent machine; would definitely buy again.

Grinder with a Nice Extra Feature
Been using this grinder for about 3 months now. I'm a little new to grinding my own beans but I have had a great experience so far. The reason I specifically chose this grinder is for the automatic settings. For just a few bucks more than other grinders in this price range, you can set it and forget it. Change it to the grind type you want and press it in and it will go on for a set time. PLUS, you have the benefit of being able to manually hold it down and use it as a manual grinder if you don't get the grind you want on the first go around. This one feature was literally the defining reason why I got this specific model. The noise level of the grinder isn't too loud. Obviously, it's not gonna be quiet, it's spinning blades hitting solid objects, can't about that. But it's not obnoxiously loud at all, I am more than happy with it. And the nice aromatic smells you get from the fresh beans more than makes up for it. The reason I give it 4 stars is that the grind isn't QUITE as consistent as I would like. I have tried it on a few different settings, and while maybe 90% of the beans get to the right consistency, the last 10% always seems to be slightly larger and rougher. I think it might be because the beans are getting stuck to the tip of the lid when using and it doesn't get as much grind time as the rest. I didn't have these issues on a different model I used from a family member. This means I have to manually grind it a few seconds longer. Overall, it is a great value for the money. It has features other grinders don't have at this price point and it still doesn't break the bank. It's simple to use , low cost, looks sleek, and makes my coffee taste better. It's been a great addition to the kitchen and would by again.

This is the one
I spent an inordinate amount of time researching coffee and spice grinders. This is the one. It has a removable cup so it’s not all messy. It has a good range of grind sizes, and you just set it, press it, and it automatically stops. I have even used it to make oat flour! Good value and seems durable. No issues after several weeks of daily use… I love it. I was a fancy barista for 10 years. I don’t make espresso drinks at home so I can’t speak to that, but it’s been great for French Press, pour overs, and Turkish coffee

Highly recommend
It is very easy to use and the coffee grounds come out perfect every time. It’s quieter than the previous grinder I had. It’s not messy and washed easily. I like the bowl comes out and is stainless steel. Makes it easy to pour and also to clean. It doesn’t take up much space on the counter either but can grind a lot of coffee beans.

Solid, quiet & capacious grinder - 5 stars!
Solid, strong, quiet, and capacious; the choice of automatic or pulsed action is great. I'm only a week in, but so far I'm very impressed. In recent years I've been through grinders from Black & Decker (a bit small & wimpy), Cuisinart (ditto), and Krups (strong and quiet, but the blade assembly is terribly designed/made - half a dozen of them busted on me).

Nice grinder but the power cable always comes out. Poor design and because off it I would not buy this grinder again

Not great
Seemed like a good purchase but grinds are uneven. Almost a full bean was left intact.
