If you can follow directions, and are very intuitive, you should be able to put this together in about three minutes; the one tool needed is an Allen wrench which is provided. The height adjustment works as designed ...... it goes up and it goes down with a slight pull on the lever. The trays are a plus and removable with one that has a magnetic insert so it can capture small parts/tools as you're working. Priced right especially when it comes right to your door!

Gets stuck when trying to raise seat, and not very comfortable. Ok purchase

I wanted to like this product. It looks nice, the removable trays are very functional, and it feels sturdy. Assembly was easy as well. However, it is difficult to increase the height. I have to keep one foot on the base and then pull the seat up while pulling the lever to get it up. Similar chairs/stools automatically go up by just pulling on the lever. It is a huge inconvenience that it can’t. If I hadn’t thrown away the packaging, I would have returned it.
