This cup is a really good size and is really well tapered so it fits comfortably in your hand even when full of liquid. This is really important as it holds around 700ml of fluid and that means when full you are going to be looking at just over 0.75Kg in weight. The exterior of the cup is made from a matte finished plastic that has a very subtle texture to it, again increasing your grip.I love the subtle pastel colours of the cup. It features the My Melody character surrounded by lots of smaller images related to them. This gives interest to the whole of the cup and not just the front. The cap and straw are a lilac shade which harmonises really nicely with the base pink.The straw features a raised section about an inch or so from the bottom of it. This provides a stopper so the straw cannot fall out of the cup. The down side to this is that it does make it significantly more difficult to clean the straw.Great cup for the side of the bed for when you wake up needing nothing more than a drink of water.

The only real selling point of this cup is its cute pink color. It’s quite large, and the straw is very long, making it a bit tricky to store.

This cup is advertised on the listing as holding 700ml but the label and the bottom if the cup say 600ml, not a big issue but one to note before I start the review.This is a really nice cup, its large, very large and the straw feels good quality too. I really like that the straw has a little bit of plastic round it at the bottom so it won't fall out of the cup, a really good idea.The lid is screw on and one on it holds firm. The design is stunning and really well printed, cute and subtle yet detailed and fun. All the images blend in to the cup and the purple and pink scheme looks really nice together.There is one caveat and while the cup is well made and thought out under the lid there are some issues with imperfections in the plastic, including one little but that is a little sharp, almost like a patch of rough area. It is under the lid so only a minor issue but one to stop this getting the full 5 stars, otherwise top marks.

This Blue Sky Studios My Melody Large Straw Cup is so cute but I am a little disappointed with the product overall for the price.The drinks tumbler is said to have a 700ml capacity according to the product information on this page but the tumbler itself and the label it comes with says it has a 600ml capacity. I don't know which one is the correct answer but it is nice and big.The tumbler is made from plastic which feels strong and smooth to hold. I was worried that the lid might come off but it screws on which keeps it nice and secure. Of course there is still the hole for the straw so I wouldn't want it to tip anyway but it does provide some reassurance.The design on the tumbler is so cute and I love the pretty matching colours of the design. The thing that disappoints me about this tumbler is that it cannot be put in the dishwasher, it presumably can't take hot drinks but it can't take carbonated ones either which leaves little else that can go in it. This is a shame for such an expensive tumbler, I'd have preferred to have paid more for an insulated tumbler with this design on instead.This is a nice tumbler but it is expensive and isn't very versatile, I guess you're paying more for the character than anything else!
