Gentle hold but better than most waxes. I don't know how it will work with my other products. I need to wash my hair again and start from scratch to see if I need it on top of the wax in a stick or instead of that. I did need the other product. The putty just isn't strong enough on its own for fine hair.

I've got fine, thin hair that I wear in a very short pixie, which I love. But it tends to lie too flat - tried a lot of products but this one is perfect - a fuller soft look and a lot of options, works great if I want it choppy or a little spikey, too. When you use it to shape I like the way it holds thing right without being immovable. I use just the tiniest bit so it's not even expensive. stays workable all day, no stiffness or greasiness whatsoever. delighted.

This product is more of a cream than a putty. It does have decent hold and a matte finish, but it is "thinner" than I was wanting. The smell is subjective - I think it smells a bit like bubble bath (not bad).

This product wasn’t anything near the Kenya I bought before. It’s soft and ineffective. Made me pretty sad. It always worked so well.

It works best on shorter hair although mine is longer than usual and it held pretty well even at an inch longer than usual.

Works great, especially for mid-length hair, slick back looks. Allows for bounce and some malleability. A little goes a long way, it has a nice smell and soft texture. If I use too much, then it does begin to give it a greasy appearance. However, I’ve found my sweet spot for my hairstyle and technique and it’s a part of my daily look now. Great purchase, Kenra is one of my favorite hair product brands.
