Irobot 300 Series Braava 390t Floor Mopping Robot (White)

I wrte this review after owning this robot for a year and 2 months. Last year, this was the only decebt robot avaialble at a reasonable price range. But it's performace has deteriorated over the year and customer service refuses to acknowledge the issue. I have since (2 days ago) bought an iLife A9s and am happier with it.Initially - the 1st 6 months in one charge, it was able to do a dry sweep and a wet sweep of 2 rooms. This is about 300 sqft of floor area. It took 20 mins a room per sweep. Worked a total of 1.5 hrs in a charge. It wasn't smart about how it traced a cleaning path. The so called iAdapt "technology" is really bare bones. A basic obstacle avoider that is taught to children in robotics workshops.After 6 months, the robot became even dumber. It would keep trying to navigate the corner of a room, again and again until it's battery ran out. It did this only in the dry mode. We took it to the service center who said that the the sensors were working fine, replaced the battery for free and sent us back. The problem persisted , but the service people just " cannot see it". For the next few months we used it only on wet mode. That worked fine, until last week where it took an hour to clean just half a room and then the battery died.It's when we decided to cut our losses and buy a smarter bot. Today, the Braava is not worth it's price point. The features and functions are too outdated. It requires a lot of human interaction. I have to remove and clean a cloth after each room it cleans, the remove all the obstacles on the floor. I can do a sweep of the house myself in the time it takes me to set up and clean this bot.The only reason I give it 2 stars is that the bot cleans well. The surfaces it has cleaned are pristine. But my new iLife can be told to clean any spot I'm not satisfied with as many times as I wish without having to carry it there. Technologically I'm very disappointed with the iRobot company.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Great mopping robot. Not as good as iRobot Roomba but still works great. Mopping is slow but rigorous, every nook and corner of the room is cleaned. Put a little disinfectant in the reservoir and the whole room is filled with fragrance. Delivery took time and the box was damaged a little bit as seen in the pic. I would recommend running Roomba first then Braava.

I bought this for my parents who are struggling to get and retain ‘kamwali’. As all robots get named , they call this one ‘bachu’ - baby in Gujarati.Bachu is easy to use for someone who is 70+, it’s got good battery life to do a dry run and then wet run for open living dinning area. Best bit is that it goes underneath sofa and bed etc , which normally gets left out. Putting it in charging or for cleaning run is easy for anyone.Only negative comment I have is that it does not have schedules , and does not go out by itself!Bachu is proving to be a quite good

Finally my home is free of maids now. I purchased roomba i7 and braava. Both complement each other. Roomba is dry mopping and braava wet mops and my home is free of dust and shining. Though braava has dry function also but in my opinion it is suitable for small homes(1bhk). For big apartment flats you need roomba and braava both. I purchased roomba i7 because it is the latest one with excellent mapping and learning. If you can compromise on some features buy a roomba 980 or 960. But they are not compatible with iRobot dustbin feature. It is a bin which will automatically suck all the dirt. So no need of emptying the bin every day.Coming back to braava. It is excellent. It works with a navigation cube which is like it’s GPS.When I read the reviews of braava on amazon. People say it is slow. Battery is not working. But according to me it’s a human error. You have to keep few things in mind for using this amazing product1)read the manual and understand all points2) charge braava for 16hours before use3) tricky part is placement of navigation cube. My braava works in two sections. First it covers my two rooms which are adjacent. Second half is living dining and kitchen. I keep the cube accordingly.So you have to understand where to keep cube so that braava covers areas you want to mop. First few days are for trials which placement works best.4) my house gets mopped in a single charge.5) roomba vaccuming or proper vaccuming is required before this for BEST results.If you can afford a roomba and braava. They will bring peace of mind. Finally no daily chicchic of maids. No holidays on festival days. Moreover it is much more hygienic. Just a few drops of detail green liquid. Roomba is good for keeping dust allergies at bay.People outside India are using all these things since years. We Indians should also move forward and accept and promote technology. So that more such things come to us.Go for it if you want to get rid of dirty cleaning of maids.

Braava is a very good mopping device. It is very easy to use and charge braava. Just you need to take care of big debris and vacuum dry dust before hand, then it will wet mop the floor with precision. The navigation system is very good, it learns the layout very quick and apt. But it is good if you buy it along with any other robot vacuum. Now we plan to buy irobot roomba, so that both will take care of entire house cleaning. Very good innovative device everyone should have.

Fantastic product. Does good job quietly.Needs some algorithm improvements for navigation and decision making refinement. Cube’s battery usage sucks, consumes battery in 2-3 days...c size battery is not common size, it would have been better to provide cube with chargeable battery pack as well.....Auto docking with scheduling ability would have been icing on cake and to make it a complete and effective cleaner..

The product is good enough for its money, it works very silently and covers all area properly. The cleaning is also reasonably good, although the kind of floor you have will have an imapct on the cleaning. The only concern I felt was that it takes a bit long time for mopping and that is a concern because the battery lasts around 1.5 hours so can do two big rooms at one stretch. Otherwise a good product indeed.

Wir haben über Amazon den Medion MD18379 und iRobot Braava 390t gekauft und ausgiebig getestet. Dabei hat sich der Medion als klarer Sieger herausgestellt.Pro Braava (Contra Medion):- Der Medion ist relativ groß und kommt nicht unter alle Möbel während der Braava erstaunlich kompakt ist- Der Medion ist lauter (da er Dreckwasser aufsaugt) während Braava kaum hörbar ist- Die Reinigung eines Microfasertuches lässt sich in der Waschmaschine schnell erledigen während Dreckwassertank, Stoffwalze und Gummilamelle des Medion mit der Hand gereinigt werden sollten.Pro Medion (Contra Braava):+ Der Medion und der Bravia machen einen sehr wertigen Eindruck, tendenziell ist der Medion aber besser verbaut+ Der Medion hat einen neuwertigen Li-Ionen Akku während der Bravia noch mit einem veralteten NiMH-Akku mit Memory Effekt betrieben wird+ Der Medion hat einen sehr großen Frischwassertank während der Bravia mit nur wenigen ml befüllbar ist+ Der Medion säubert mit einer Stoffwalze, saugt das dreckige Wasser ab und zieht den Boden mit einer Gummilamelle ab. Die Antriebsräder sind von der Walze womit er nicht durch das gewischte fährt. Der Braava hat ein Microfasertuch welches durch Vor- und Rückbewegung über den Boden geschoben wird. Das Microfasertuch nimmt den Dreck auf aber erreicht sehr schnell seine Kapazität und verteilt anschließend nur noch den Dreck gleichmäßig. Die Antriebsräder sind hinter dem Tuch und hinterlassen dadurch sichtbare spuren.+ Der Medion hat optische Sensoren und navigiert durch die Wohnung während der Bravia mit einem extra Navigationswürfel betrieben werden sollte (ohne geht prinzipiell auch) und tendenziell nur kleine Flächen abdecken kann+ Der Medion kommuniziert mit einem auf Englisch z.B. Wassertank leer, Reinigung beendet, Batterie leer+ Der Medion hat eine Fernbedienung mit unterschiedlichen Modis (Bahnen abfahren, Wände abfahren, per Hand navigieren, punktuell extra gründlich reinigen) der Braava kann kehren (Bahnen abfahren) und die Vor- und Rückbewegung eines Wischers immitieren kommt etwas besser in die EckenUnentschieden:o beide Geräte sollen nicht mit Reinigungsmitteln betrieben werden (auch wenn man es dennoch machen könnte)o der Medion hinterlässt einen minimal feuchteren Boden was bei sehr empfindlichen Böden eventuell ein Problem sein könnteo beide fahren nicht auf die Station zurück was aber egal ist da man sie ja ohnehin Reinigen mussFazit:Der Medion gewinnt ganz klar. Er fährt größere Bereiche ab hat durch seinen Frisch/Dreckwassertank einen deutlich größeren Reinigungseffekt. Er zieht keine Schlieren da seine Antriebsräder vor der Walze sind. Den Braava würde ich nur für kleinere und grundsätzlich relativ saubere Haushalte empfehlen.

Die Wischleistung liegt im Notenbereich 2-3, Lautstärke: ist sehr leise und kaum hörbar. Soweit so gut und es wäre wirklich ein super Teil und eine Arbeitserleichterung.Aaaaaaber....... der Wischwasserbehälter, das Reservoir-Pad sieht nach 4, in Worten Vier!!! Einsätzen aus wie auf dem Foto. Sprünge an den Ecken. Da läuft natürlich auch noch das Wasser raus. Das darf so nicht sein. Ich kann mir kein Ersatzteillager anschaffen. Dazu noch völlig überteuert! Jedesmal 40 Euro nach 4-5 Einsätzen für so einen Billigschrott ist unverschämt teuer. So etwas könnte man ändern, wenn man denn wollte. Denn es geht ja schon seit Jahren so. Denn auch die Ersatzteile sind so schnell kaputt. (Siehe auch die vielen Bewertungen vom Ersatz-Reservoir-Pad). Aber dann verdient man sich keine goldenen Nase mehr.Ich war seither absoluter iRobot-Fan und habe schon seit 10 Jahren einen Roomba. Aber das geht gar nicht. Ich werde keinen iRobot mehr kaufen. Denn wenn man es nicht schafft nach Jahren einen Fehler im Material auszumerzen, ist das so gewollt. Abzocken lasse ich mich nicht.Das ist trotz der relativ guten Wischleistung höchstens, wenn überhaupt noch 1 Stern wert!

Confiamos en iRobot porque tenemos uno aspiradora y nos ha dado un buen resultado. Por eso nos decidimos a realizar la compra, todo y que precio es bastante elevado comparado con sus competidores friega suelos. La compra ha resultado una decepción absoluta; en 3 meses tuvimos problemas con la bateria, que fué remplazada por nosotros mismos enviada desde el servicio técnico. Es como un sistema de servicio técnico dual, ellos envian las piezas con una semana aproximada de tiempo y el cliente realiza la reparación en casa. Pasados 2 meses más el robot vuelve a dar problemas, nos comunicamos con servicio técnico de nuevo, y nos envian cable cargador nuevo, sin ningún éxito. En resumen llevamos más de un mes sin robot el y servicio técnico oficial no nos resuelve problema.Para nada es el resultado esperado, para la compra de un robot de los de más coste en el mercado.En cuanto al servicio tècnico, nuestra nota es de suspenso, las comunicaciones con ellos son de mas de una semana, suelen tardar entre 5 y 10 días en contestar correos al cliente y los recambios no son de calidad y a bateria de una tecnología anticuada, nada acorde con el precio final del aparato.No recomendamos la compra de este robot.Esperamos que os sea de ayuda nuestro comentario.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Que nadie piense otra cosa, como digo en el titulo solo pasa mopa húmeda con agua, y en cada vez que lo pones es todo el rato la misma, con lo cual o lo paras para cambiarsela y poner otra limpia varias veces o de lo contrario la suciedad que recoje el paño va a pasearse por toda la casa. Cuando se friega como toda la vida se ha hecho, se da unas pasadas y se aclara la fregona, la suciedad va al agua, aquí no hay nada que se aclare solamente un paño que se humedece puesto en un robot que se pasea. Quien compre esto pensando en un verdadero fregado.. Error👎🏻Y para colmo se volvió loco y en vez de ir hacia adelante como es su funcionamiento cuando le parece se pone marcha atrás y en cuanto se topa con algo se para.En lo que no inventen otro funcionamiento los robots de hoy en día en cuanto a fregado no merecen la pena. No entiendo las opiniones que confunden y dicen que fenomenal, que friega muy bien, solo imaginar que coges una fregona y sin aclararla se la pasas a toda la casa, resultado reparte la suciedad y se queda lleno de marcas de las pasadas con frecona(o paño en este caso) sucia.Resultado devolucion

Le robot est conforme à sa description, c'est à dire :1 - Parfaitement silencieux2 - Plutot bien équipé3 - Relativement efficace.Toutefois, je dispose d'un robot aspirateur d'une autre marque qui m'a couté à peine plus cher, ce dernier peut également être équipé d'une serpillère, mais est bien moins efficace que ce produit, car le Irobot Braava 390t :- se bloque facilement (sous la chaise de bureau, contre un cable électrique), et quand je dis se bloque, il s'arrete net parfois et ne repart pas.- Pas vraiment de système connecté, aucune application par téléphone, aucune activation à distance, aucune programmation. Dommage, j'espérais justement le programmer pour qu'il passe juste après le robot aspirateur quand je ne suis pas là- Ne monte pas sur les barres de seuils, tapis, ou support plus haut d'un demi centimètre. J'ai une plaque en verre décorative sous mon poêle à bois, il n'y va pas.- Ce système de cube... Loin d'être pratique, bien qu'en pointant le laser vers un miroir, j'ai l'impression que le robot ait l'impression qu'il y en a deux, avec cette technique, le robot fait toute ma pièce de 40m²- Au niveau serpillère, il ne fait pas vraiment 100% d'une pièce, je l'ai fait passé dans une pièce avec légèrement de poussières, certains endroits ont échappé au robot, pourtant ce sont des endroits qui ne sont pas génés par des meubles ou des obstacles- Ne retourne pas se charger quand il a fini(Tout les points ci-dessus sont effectués par mon robot-aspirateur)Alors, je précise que pour moi, 3 étoiles veut dire :"BON", je ne regrette pas particulièrement mon achat, le robot reste d'une aide appréciable au quotidien (sauf que je suis obligé de débrancher certaines prises et de sur-élever tout ce qu'il y au sol) et que j'espérais que pour un prix entre 250 et 300€ il aurait les mêmes capacités que mon robot aspirateur qui est dans la même tranche de prix.
