A life-saver on an extreme diet
These are a game-changer... I'm SO glad to have found these "noodles" on my current diet!I got a bit squishier than I'd like during the pandemic and finally got around to putting myself on a diet. But being a tiny person with a pretty low basal metabolic rate, cutting enough calories to shed pounds means I'm mega limited in what I can eat. I'm always on the lookout for filling foods that don't rack up the calories, and these are just the ticket! Some reviewers have mentioned that these are too chewy, or they don't have a taste... well, yeah, they aren't going to be like actual pasta or rice. However, plain pasta and rice aren't too flavorful, either; they're just the carrier - the vessel, if you will - for tasty toppings! These don't have much in the way of smell or taste on their own. And the texture, while a bit toothier than an overcooked spaghetti noodle, is not bad. They are closer to rice/glass noodles than anything. If you don't mind that, you won't mind these. And at 6 calories a serving vs. 200+ for actual noodles or rice, I'm more than willing to make a tiny flavor sacrifice. Even my partner - who is NOT on a diet - will share these with me happily.I can make these with vegetable bouillon, a few fresh veggies (spinach, kale, asparagus, peppers, etc.), and a splash of soy sauce and hot sauce for an extremely filling meal that's only 30 calories and easy to prep, using the microwave or just boiling water from the kettle. Or I mix in the "rice" with steamed broccoli and some meatless "steak" tips and enjoy a nice stir-fry for only about 100-150 calories total. OR I make a homemade tomato sauce with fresh tomatoes, spices, capers, and other fresh veggies, and have a satisfying spaghetti dinner that clocks in at around 35 total calories!Obviously, you need enough caloric intake to survive, so I'm not encouraging anyone to under-eat... but if you're close to your daily calorie limit and still hungry, these make a great way to stave off food cravings! And while I'm making healthier choices and watching my intake overall, these are definitely helping with my diet; I am actively losing weight. I'm on my second variety pack already and will definitely continue to keep these on hand throughout the course of my diet, and maybe even thereafter.I only wish that these could be packaged dry somehow, and that the price were more comparable to actual rice & noodles. Still, this particular product is the best value I've found.

Great "Pasta" Substitute with Almost ZERO Calories
While on a calorie deficit diet, discovering this "pasta" has been a blessing! I make my regular recipes and substitute the pasta with the Hethstia Konjac Noodles and it reduces the total calories immensely without losing any flavor! The consistency is different that pasta, kind of slippery, but it is a very strong substitute. The noodles take on the flavor of your dish, otherwise they are tasteless, so season away! I can now make very filling and satisfying meals and easily stay under my calorie goals.

Quite satisfying to the belly-Especially if you’re eating low carb
I used them recently in a veggie soup. They have a nice consistency. There’s no cooking involved, just empty them from their packet and rinse several times. They are a bit slippery, so I cut them up into tinier bits. They taste much better than palm hearts pasta or Caloless Konjac Shirataki Noodles.(These had a strong odd odor)They are pricey, but it doesn’t matter when you’re over 60 weight loss is painstakingly slow and finding a product that helps is well worth it.

Good but small amount and expensive
I line the rice flavor and consistency but is loosing 2 stars because; The packages are really small, like half cup.Ends up being very price for the amount of product.

Awful.
I find these horrible and inedible. Other low-carb noodles can be stinky and these aren’t, but the texture is beyond awful. Boiled rubber bands would be preferable and less slimy. If you like traditional noodles, this may not be your alternative.

Small portions but no scent and zero prep time
If you have ever purchased shirataki from a grocery store, you are probably familiar with the 7oz and 14oz packages. These are packed in a large amount of liquid, and the liquid has a very fishy smell. This is due to the manufacturing process as opposed to the konjac itself, which is flavorless.Hethstia and other non-refrigerated, ready-to-eat shirataki noodles are marketing to an audience distinct from those who frequent asian grocery stores. These are not packaged in the same way as traditional shirataki, so there is no fishy smell present. I rinse these for a few seconds and squeeze out excess water with my tofu press, but the amount prep for these probably depends on the viscosity of the liquid or sauce you will use. For kimchi stew or mul-naengmyeon, these can go right in without any prep. If you are making western dishes like noodles with tomato-based or alfredo sauce, you can certainly put these in a skillet dry to remove excess moisture and water. The greatest thing about these is zero prep time. Faster and healthier than boiling and eating starchy noodles, these are carb-free, filling, and texturally pleasing. The worst thing about these is the small amount per package. For the same price, you can get more than twice the quantity of shirataki from a local grocery store, although that does require draining/rinsing/boiling or dry sauteeing.Even though these are more expensive than shirataki at the grocery store, they save time and gas, so I consider these to be of equal value.

Good product
I thought the noodles and rice were a great replacement for high carb items. They taste great and are a treat on my low carb diet. A little pricy but I'm worth it.

Good.....But poor quality control......
I would have given a 5 star review but 5 of the 12 packs were not cooked or only barely cooked!!! The noodles in those 5 packs were stiff like they put uncooked noodles in there and then filled them with water. I had to boil those 5 packs for about 4 to 8 mins then they softened up, but they turned slightly brown. Big Hassel !!! POOR QUALITY CONTROL. NOW BAD REVIEW.The cooked noodles were fine and in my opinion a great substitute for pasta. Exactly like pasta? No, but a decent substitute.I have made several Asian dishes mixed in veggies.....turned out good.
