Total convenience and worth it!
This is one of the best consumer model Wi-Fi extenders money can buy and probably the best in the segment! Since months of using it, I have never experienced signal drop even once and the device won't enter stand-by unless you configure it to do so. I'd have loved the LED Indicators (blue color) to be designed on its front panel but they are on the top section which is hard to see when plugged in to a wall-socket. It has the Power, WiFi, 2.4 GHz, and 5 GHz indicator LEDs on it and they all light up blue while working depending on your configuration. You may choose to enable either or both bands in settings and they both work refreshingly well. Connecting to the extender is straight-forward via WiFi for first time setup and once you change the SSID and passwords to match your existing WiFi network, it instantly blends with the network; WPS button is available too! It also has an RJ45 output if you fancy to connect a device via LAN cable. I've not used it yet but I intend to. Boot time takes a minute but once it loads up, you forget that it exists as it is not a device you have to shutdown or restart constantly. So far I have connected to both bands and both work as if they belong to the router and not the extender - very minimal bandwidth loss and the speeds of the 5 GHz band took me by surprise - almost 90% of what I get from the router while 2.4 GHz remains slow like it always is. The best part is, the 5 GHz range on this device is much powerful than it is on my TP Link router and it covers the entire 1200 Sq ft without breaking a sweat; personally I have used it throughout the house and there are no blind spots at all and my router is actually on the first floor while the range extender is in the ground floor house. The house has good ventilation and the device has not overheated so far which adds to good performance. I don't know whether this is value for money in general but it is definitely worth having this WiFi range extender. Also if your walls covered in light shade paint, this blends in perfectly (more so if the walls are white shaded); it is as if there is nothing there and it is tiny!

Great range extender – simple, sleek, and effective
The TP-Link AC1200 WiFi Range Extender is easy to install and was ready to use within minutes using the quick setup process. Packaging is solid and the unit itself has a sleek design with a good quality finish. It’s lightweight, and the 3-pin plug fits snugly into the power socket without any looseness. Technically, the extender supports dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz) with combined speeds of up to 1200 Mbps, which helps reduce congestion and improves overall stability. The 5 GHz band delivers better speeds for streaming and browsing, while 2.4 GHz provides wider coverage through walls. Signal strength is consistent, latency is low, and it effectively eliminates Wi-Fi dead zones. Device handoff is smooth, and performance remains stable even with multiple connected devices. Overall, a well-built and dependable range extender that delivers good coverage, speed, and ease of use—excellent value for home networks.

A Classy extender
Love the product, does what it says and that too in the best of ways. Easy installation steps made it ever so simple to set up and I did everything literally from the devices app on my phone. Connecting to the source wifi and then giving stable connection from the extender makes playing games on my streaming device so much better and eliminates the dead zone which previously restricted low dbm. All in all a great deal and made even more lovely by the fact that Amazon gave me a great deal and had it delivered by the end of the day i ordered

One of the Best WiFi Extenders for Multi-Floor Homes
I’ve been using this WiFi extender for the past few days, and it has been working flawlessly. Setup was smooth, and so far, I haven’t faced any issues. The extender provides strong coverage in dead zones and maintains a decent speed. As expected, performance depends on how far you place the extender from your main router. In my setup, the router is on the first floor while the extender is on the ground floor. On the 5GHz band, I’m consistently getting around 80% of the original speed, which is impressive for an extender. Naturally, if the extender is placed farther from the router, speed will reduce, but within a reasonable range, it works very well. You can also set the same SSID as your main router, so devices automatically connect to the strongest signal while moving between floors So far, it’s one of the best products I’ve used, and I’ll continue to monitor its performance over the year. Important Note on MAC Filtering: If you’re using MAC filtering on your primary router, you must add the extender’s MAC addresses for both bands (2.4GHz and 5GHz) since the extender uses separate MAC addresses for each band. Additionally, you need to manually configure MAC filtering on the extender itself. Applying MAC filtering only on the main router is not enough, because users can still connect through the extender even if the filter is active on the router. Enabling MAC filtering on both the router and extender ensures that unauthorized devices cannot access your network.

Excellent Range Extender - RE305 V3
I bought recently TP-Link Archer C6 AC1200 Gigabit router for my house and I was looking for a range extender for the first floor as the signal is not great there due to intersecting walls. Whilst I was researching on TP-Link site to look for a compatible range extender, I read about the OneMesh technology where the compatible range extenders could be connected with main router to create a one mesh network. This means you don't need to have multiple 2.4 ghz or 5 ghz SSIDs for main router and extenders. RE305 Version 3 (EU model) was listed as a range extender that supports Onemesh and compatible with my Archer C6. I was worried initially because only V3.0 of RE305 supports Onemesh and V2 or earlier versions don't support. So be careful before you order. The Amazon product page lacks this information in the product details and my attempts to try to reach out customer care, the seller and also the manufacturer (TP-Link) only resulted in vain as none of them could provide me or confirm me if the product sold is of V3 (EU) only. Fortunately few of the customer who bought this product did answer my questions that gave me a chance to take a risk and order and thankfully I got the V3 (EU) model of the product. After you establish the connection, please ensure to check the firmware upgrade as I got the latest firmware updated that fixes few wifi signal issues. It is really small and cute in size, pretty easy to plug in as it directly plugs into wall socket, and easy to configure. Just use the Tether mobile app which is quick and easy to install and connect the extender to your main router. Good thing is it will recognize your existing 2.4 and 5 gh wifis and replicates the connection with the same SSID and pwds of the main router. Once done, you enable the Onemesh feature and bang !! you are now in the onemesh network where you get seamless signals across a 2 floor house. This extender boosts up the signal and kills the wifi dead zone in the house. This also supports 802.11a/g/n/ac protocols. I noticed only one issue on 5 ghz. If you have configured your main router channel number to "Auto" and if it connects to any channel other than 36,40,44 and 48, then the Range Extender RE305 is unable to pickup that 5 ghz. I couldn't figure it out initially as it kept saying unable to connect to 5 ghz. Then I changed the channel on 5 ghz on my main router to 36. Then it connected. The speed is good and I am pretty happy with its performance. Worth for the price. Please note that though you can configure this TP Link range extender with any other router but if you want to have Onemesh technology then its only compatible with a TP Link router.

Best performance for Repeater/wifi signal enhancer
It’s serves the purpose of signal boosting of Wi-Fi. I had tried Netgear claiming same output but it failed miserably in performances. This is perfect product for repeater/wifi signal enhancer. My experience very positive
