Good Times Floating Waterproof Speaker Case for All iPhone and Android Phones (Yellow)

I have used this for 4 years to listen to music and audiobooks while in my swim spa, probably 3-5 hrs/week. My old mp3 players are NOT bluetooth, and this is one of the only speakers out there that will both play AND protect my mp3. It doesn't take much juice - the 3 AA batteries lasted weeks, even at full volume. I'm giving it 4 stars because the battery compartment cover clip is weak and the cover started falling off about 6 mo ago, allowing the batteries to dislodge with normal usage. I tested it for water tightness, and it was fine - but you have to be careful not to get the cord to the 3.5mm jack caught in the seal or it will leak. I am finally needing to replace it due to the speaker starting to go bad and developing a tinny rattle that is getting increasingly annoying.

The speaker has fairly decent sound, but make sure you don't let it go under water! We wanted to see if it was waterproof, so we submerged it in the pool. Opened it up and water poured out! I guess if it just falls in the pool or gets splashed it would be fine.

I used it a total of 3 times in the shower and it started crapping out. It started making this loud popping noise every few seconds and the volume would go up and down on it's own. Spend the extra and go with Eco Extreme.
