Was packing for a hiking adventure and discovered that I was missing the valve for my camelback. Found this one on Amazon and it worked great. I got the pack with the extra pieces, just in case for the future. Worked great! Great value!

The bite valve that came with my Osprey Raptor pack sprung a massive leak after a couple of years and I was set to buy an OEM replacement when I saw the link to this replacement valve in one of the Amazon reviews. It didn't appear that any of the reviewers of this product used it on an Osprey pack, but I felt confident buying it since it has a 60-day guarantee. Turns out I didn't need the guarantee because it fits perfectly. Even the magnetic clip fits fine on it! I highly recommend this as a far less costly and much better made alternative when your Osprey valve fails (not a matter of if, it's when since the Osprey valve has a known defect- read the similar reviews on Osprey's website). It comes with four valves, so even if each replacement valve only lasts as long as my Osprey valve lasted, I'll still get four times the total life out of this. Also, I can tell the seller really cares about the product; after placing the order, I received an email with a two-page (full color illustration) installation manual. Kind of overkill for simply sticking a new valve into a tube, but I'd rather have over-instruction than under-instruction. Great product, great price, and great service!

Good bargain replacement over OEM bite valve

The bite valve on my Camelback got competely torn. Visited my local bike store and they wanted to charge about $28 for the original valve.Came online and found this item. A lot less expensive, a perfect fit on the OEM hose, and now I have 3 spare mouth pieces that should last for a long time.

Simple solution to frustrating problem. New hi-tech bite valves just didnt work well under my full face motorcycle helmet, even though I purposely purchased a water bladder with a right angle bite valve. I guess if you didn't want very good flow, and the need to bite quite hard, the stock bite valve would have worked. But I wanted more. I took a chance on one of these original Camelback style silicone bite valves, that came (4) to a pack, and have been very pleased with its ease of use, softness, flexibility and flow rate. You may have to squeeze this new bite valve's ware slit to have it open up to the flow rate you want, but that is easy to do. You grasp the bite valve on the sides perpendicular to the factory provided water slit and squeeze with enough force to open the slit an cause the slit to grow in length. This is how to get more flow.

The set of replacement bite valves seem to work as well as the originals when i installed and test one. Price was very good compared to local retail stores and the package was delivered very quickly. very pleased
