The major advantage, not mentioned in the description, is that they are not slippery like the clear smooth plastic ones, which to me are almost slimy. They do not slip if placed in a pile. The description of them as "clear" is imprecise. They are not fully "transparent" and the correct word is "translucent". One report used "semi-clear".The non slippery feature is significant. If you have ever had several of more smooth plastic folder in a pile and tried to manipulate them, you will appreciate these.

Ok, so you know your life has changed since college when you think a folder is good enough for you to write a review on. My office use to stock these and I would use them for business trips, they are great for all of your receipts and make doing expense reports a breeze. Why not use one of the cheaper ones you say? Because they are cheap and don't hold up well under all of the activity of travel, these folders never allow your reciepts or paperwork to get damaged, they are easy to use and require no instructions! Don't ask me about the warranty on them because I have never had to use it, they are that good!This is about the best price I have seen for them shipped, way to go Amazon!I hope you all enjoy your amazing new folders! I've been using these document sleeves to organize my work for decades. This particular brand is very high quality, and the premium price paid is well worth it. These things last FOREVER. I love having these in my office and use them everyday for organization.

These folders are awesome. Been using them for years, everyday. They hold a significant amount of sheets, and even a few manila folders. I take a post-it note and write on the back of it and stick it to the front cover as my label. They are worth the premium pay.

I have purchased this item before so I am familiar with it's quality. Although somewhat pricey, you can't beat it's durability. These document protectors are meant to last. The right hand side is NOT attached all the way down the side, so it's easy to insert your documents. They are thick and can hold a number of sheets, so that is a plus. We use these same document protectors in our office, but due to budget cuts, some of us have decided to buy our own. Just can't seem to let go of a good thing. I would recommend these to office workers or individuals.

Use these every day at work to hold paper in a production environment. Hold up well and protect the papers from grease, oil and water. Great product

i used it mainly to scan in documents to a ADF feeder for paper less than 8 1/2 X 11. A lot quicker than taping to a piece of paper to scan. The folder is sturdy enough but also thin enough to not cause any jams in the scanner, especially since the folder is secured like an L shape on the edges. The document has to be place exactly by the left edge of the folder to scan the entire document or like 2% will be cut off from the right side.

I have the colored backings and the transparent backings for this product (different products, same company, same quality/texture). The pebble-textured surfaces front and back add weight and substance to the product. I am a paralegal and use them to transport court documents and for turning in homework. Adding your name with a Sharpie for ID to get them back is helpful. These are very steal-worthy items. Thicker documents inserted may stretch them out width-wise a bit, no biggie. I spent 20 years searching office stores for this very product, when all I had to do was some research on Amazon.
