I got this book for my kids to use as part of our survivalist class in homeschool. This was fun for us adults and the kids too. The book opens by teaching you how to use and read a compass. There are even some lessons on how to navigate with no compass using stars or other indicators. There are activities along the way that are fun ways to use the skills you are learning. Also, in each section after the lesson is taught there is a short quiz link to take. We enjoyed this book as a family and learned a lot.

Simple and direct instructions to learn about using a compass.

Written so it’s easy to read, has great content, and a bunch of fun activities to practice the skills….OUTSIDE!!!! Good bye cell phones and hello to orienteering and adventures ahead! ‘Was exactly what I was looking for!

Guide was easy and interactive.Got for my 5 year old grandsons. I sure they are going to love going thru this guide and learning to use their compasses.
