Used with our GSD puppy from a young age. Really clear and concise whistle and you can easily create different tones, and volumes. Handy little neck sling to chuck it on and use it quickly. Our GSD loves this for stop start training, as well as recall.

The Acme dog whistle is decent for training, and it gets the job done. It’s easy to use and has a clear sound that my dog responds to, but it’s not as loud or as effective as some other options I’ve tried. Overall, it’s a solid choice for basic training, but not quite the game-changer I was hoping for. Still, for the price, it’s a reliable option.

Bought this for recalling our 8 month old lab/springer cross. He likes wandering ahead when he is off the lead exploring so bought this to ensure he could hear it (and to save my voice!). Works a treat. Spent a bit of time teaching him to associate the whistle with the recall command by shouting on him and as he was running back I would give the whistle two short sharp blasts and give him a treat once he got back. I did this on every walk for a few weeks before testing him on it. I did notice when I stopped the 'come' command and just whistled, he would slowly trot back to me at his own leisure so just started blowing the whistle and running backwards and this sped him up. Once he got back, I made a big fuss and gave him a treat. Now when I use the whistle to recall him he turns and sprints back to me. Still ignoring me when he is playing with another dog though...need to work on that still!

Good item buy with confidence

Great whistle ... no problem with that, but the sprung swivel clip simply fell off the metal fastening that attaches to the lanyard on its first outing. I could easily have lost the whistle before it had even been used. Anything I did to resolve this could not remedy the situation. So I'd give 5 stars for the actual whistle (my dogs were certainly very keen to pay immediate attention to it), but the fastening to the lanyard is pathetic to the point of being completely pointless. So as an overall product, I can only give this three stars

Perfetto per il richiamo e in fase di addestramento. Suono chiaro ma non fastidioso. Forse ha un prezzo leggermente più alto di articoli simili, ma vale la pena spendere qualche euro in più, trattandosi di materiale molto resistente e corredato di un comodo laccio per appenderlo al collo.

Difficile de trouver un sifflet de qualité. Nous avons été très satisfaits par celui-ci. Le numéro "211.5" est la référence de la fréquence du son produite par ce sifflet, chaque race est réputée pour être plus ou moins sensible à une fréquence. Ce sifflet, par exemple, est plutôt conseillé pour les chiens retrievers (golden, labradors). L'avantage est que si vous le perdez ou cassez il suffit de racheter le sifflet avec le même numéro et il produira exactement le son que vous avez appris à votre chien. Attention : ce n'est pas un sifflet silencieux, l'intensité du son peut être ajustée en fonction de l'intensité avec laquelle vous soufflez dedans
