Hoya 52mm Ultraviolet UV(C) Haze Multicoated Filter

Its not just a filter, something more than that! It really serves the purpose of a filter and it also adds as a protection to the lens without compromising the picture quality! I got it paired up with my Nikkor 35mm 1.8g! At first before receiving one of these i was also afraid about the image quality since some guys posted negative reviews about it.. Trust me..You will see no difference in quality of images.. its comes with a nice hard plastic box which keeps the filter protected during the shipment and its made in philippines! A must have accessory for your DSLR!

Pro: the quality is good and the price is affordable. It's better than any other uv filter in this range. Fits perfectly and you don't see much difference in picture quality. Con: the film quality is a little brittle so anything that touches the filter might scratch it. I just wanted to buy it to protect my kit lens and as it happens it works amazingly well.

With a promise of assuring quality products at great prices and sooner than timely delivery, I have only good things to say about amazon! About the filter, I bought it for my 50 mm 1.8 G prime lense and it fits perfectly! Doint what it says, my lense is now safe against dust, damage and 'finger prints'! The price I feel is fine as I'd rather shell out a few more hundreds than take something that may mess with the quality of the picture!

I read so many reviews related to product and finally decided to go for and m glad that the ordered product was good as expected. Rings sets perfectly and quality of product is good too. There are few quality features which are missing but u can expect the product in such price. There is no compromise with picture quality, I checked in rainy weather too and pic comes perfectly . I would recommend to go for it if ur budget is low.

No doubt the product is excellent and its fit the lens perfectly. I am using it on 55-200mm lens and it look nice. Coming to the picture quality after using the uv filter in the lens, there is a slight decrease in the contrast of the picture( not so bad) but you can see the difference between those two pic taken with filter and without filter. You can use for it as lens protection and hoya is performing better than other. Suggest to go for it but just slight decrease in contrast which can be adjusted in post processing.

So far, so good. The filter seems to do the job. It's got a good sturdy design - no plastic - and fits onto my 52mm lenses very neatly. I'm chiefly using it to protect my new lenses but it doesn't seem to have any detrimental impact on image quality, and the UV filter should be useful when travelling about in all conditions. Easy enough to keep clean with a lenspen.

Filter is good. Clear glass. Most of the new dslr lens don't need a uv filter because the sensor has uv compensation. I use it to protect the lens from smuggling and dust ingres Glass is very clear

Seems good and clear. Metal frame is good as well. Noticed some green reflection when I held it at a certain angle while I was cleaning it. Not sure if it affects picture quality. Could only see the green reflection when held at an extreme angle with a CFL light behind me. Straight on it seems absolutely clear. Great price. 4 stars because of the green reflection.

Uso el filtro para un 24-70 F2,8 y la calidad de imagen es muy buena. Lo pongo para proteger el objetivo y poder ir sin la tapa puesta todo el día. El marco es bastante delgado.Siempre uso los Hoya HMC ;porque tienen una relación calidad precio inmejorable, nada que envidiar a un B+W.

These are excellent filters. They protect the lens and maintain image quality. I have been using Hoya HMC filters for years and have always been pleased with their multi coated filters. The price is fair and they are well-worth what they cost.

Introduction I bought this UV filter for my Nikon 70-300 f/4.5-5.6 and it is one of the best filters that I've ever used for this lens. Optics This filter doesn't affect the image quality at all, and does not distort/soften the image. There isn't really any ghosting or flares, except when I point it directly at the sun, which is for the most part, unavoidable. Conclusion For the price, and knowing Hoya's quality, I've couldn't have asked for more, besides, what else is a UV filter supposed to do? I'd recommend this filter to anyone who needs a 67mm UV filter, and skip the ones being sold on eBay for a solid, good quality one instead.
