Glorious Keyboard Switch Sample Pack - Gateron | Kailh | Panda | Lynx Mechanical Keyboard Switches

I got there to figure out which switches I want to use in a new keyboard I was gifted and I was not disappointed. Each switch was great and I loved trying each out to find my favorite. My only suggestion would be to label them as you take them out of the box...The colors are different but if you loose or get rid of the box you wont know which one is which... I didn't personally use the O rings because they aren't my favorite key feel. Cant wait to save up for a full set so I can replace the whole board! Added bonus the unused switched can be used like fidgets after you choose your favorite!

I really like this, the sound quality and feel is 10/10. They included some of everything so you can get a feel for Clickly or quiet, lube or no lube. Worth the money to buy a tester kit like this before spending $300+ on a nice keyboard.

If you have a mechanical keyboard you owe it to yourself to test out some new switches every once in a while. The thing that holds most people back, I think, is feeling like they need to buy a full set of switches to do so. Welp, here's a sampler pack that has a bunch of popular switches that you can easily try out. Some will probably feel pretty good, some probably won't. Some will be too quiet, or too loud. Maybe, like me, you'll find that you like your stock switches about the best, and that you don't need to replace your switches, but even if that's the case you'll stop wondering if there's something else out there. Well worth the reasonable price for these to give them a try, and if you have friends with mechanical keyboards you can always lend this set to them after you're done testing things out as well - they'll appreciate it.

As others have said, this is just a sampler pack of keyswitches (and o-rings). It's definitely not complete for testing: if you don't have keycaps and a keyboard chassis lying around, you probably want to buy something else. Relatedly, there are YouTube videos of people walking through these without keycaps on them. That's very not helpful: the keycap makes things a lot louder, and is important if you're worried about things being too loud on Discord calls or whatever. If you do, though, this is a super great tool for deciding which set of keyswitches to order from Glorious. My only complaint is that it comes like a box of chocolates: no labels and, if you don't know what's what, you never know what you're gonna get. There is literally no assistance on which keyswitch is which. Glorious doesn't even have a labeled image on their website, so you're stuck looking really closely at the reddish-brownish one that you like, and going through a process of elimination to find out that it's Kailh's Speed Copper. I would be less grumpy about this if Glorious didn't literally print the list of what's in the box on the box. That kind of investment in box art means they could at least have a single image on their website with names for each keyswitch on it.

I'm new to mechanical keyboards and thus had no idea what kind of switch I'd like best. My keyboard came with Gateron Browns, but I wanted to try out other types of switches to see what I liked best and this was the most affordable option. It's kind of shocking what a difference the changes make so I'm really happy there was an option like this on the market for when I'm ready to dive in and start modding. Plus it let me turn my toggle keys (like Caps Lock and Num Lock) clicky without having to buy switch set just for them. It's a subtle change but I adore being able to hear and feel when I accidentally hit all caps without SUDDEN CAPITILAZTION showing up when I'm typing, especially when I'm entering a password or the like.

Bought these to test out some different switches. My first mechanical keyboard and I am glad I bought this kit. Brows are NOT tactile. You feel nothing at all. I liked the Glorious Panda switches but they were a little stiff. I wound up getting the Holy Panda X switches that are not in this kit but this kit helped me settle on the right switches for me. This was a better option than just buying set of switches and not being happy with them. I have now passed this on to a fried so he can deiced on the switches he will be getting also. This kit was worth the money and was very helpful. It showed me that all the switches I thought I would like were not for me. Trust no one when it comes to switches and just get this kit or another kit from what ever MFG you plan on using. Same switch from different companies feel different. 60g switch from Gateron feels stiffer then 60g switch from kailh.

This is a pack of 18 (16, if you don't count the factory lubed variations as "different") different switches that Glorious Gaming packages and resells. It comes with some o-rings you can try out if you think that might be your thing (it has been a thing I did in the past, now i just look for mute/silent switches). The Good: - Sample of a variety of switches from different manufacturers in a single box. - Box has a switch legend on it. The Bad: - o-rings are disappointing when they could have included a silent tactile or silent linear switch instead. The Meh: - Lubed switch variations are a good indicator that you might want to buy the unlubed switches and DIY lube. - Watching a "how to lube" video might make you think "factory lube is good enough!" - Switches come in a cardboard box with nice foam padding and no pretense at including a switch testing plate.

Honestly pretty happy with these switches, perfect variety for anyone to find at least one they like, plus they’re pretty disposable at $10 so they’re a great learning experience for learning about lubing switches and sound deadening. One thing to note is my box came with additional o rings and 4 extra switches not listed in the ad.

Fate attenzione, la scatola contiene solo gli switch che vedete elencati e fotografati in questa recensione e degli oring. Non è presente alcuna scheda in cui inserirli e nessun keycap. Per testare il feedback io ho utilizzato una scheda hotswap e keycap della mia tastiera che monta cherry mx (sono tutti pienamente compatibili).
