This stand is perfect for a studio setup. The joints are attached perfectly. You also get a mic holder with it .The best part of it is that this stand can be easily folded .Material used is awesome. The plastic parts are quiet good. The weight is also nicley balanced. It can hold a heavy mic easily using a shock mount at any position

REVIEW AFTER USING FOR A MONTH
It looks amazingly beautiful, but feels (yep feels, I'm not saying it is, but feels) fragile, I get a vibe that even a 10 yr old boy can break this, but is a good product. Have been using this for over a month, no issues yet.

Couldn't ask for more.
Loved it. Holds my CAD U37 condenser microphone perfectly. Bought it for Rs 1520. MRP on box is Rs 1624 and but here amazon raises the price from Rs 2000 to 3968. Don't buy it as that price. This is a lower version of Samson BL-3, but perfect for all types of uses.

Truest review.... After a year or so of purchase
The stand is nice in its price and does the job which it states in the product description. Pros: The clamps are goot to hold the microphone let it be a condenser or dynamic. The arms are easily turnable and fixable and can be tightened. It is compact to move around. Cons: The stands arm will bent a bit from the lower if you stretch it to its maximum size. It is a bit flexible which is not good at all for recording. The stand is a lot light and will fall down if the microphone is heavy (i use a SAMSON C01u pro and it is pain in a$s to make the stand to not to move while recording. So i have to keep it to it's lowest size possible to not to turn and fall down. My bad I didn't knew about the difference between light weight and a heavy weight boom stand, BUT NOW YOU KNOW. SO SPEND SOME EXTRA BUCKS AND BUY A HEAVY BOOM STAND BY SPENDING A FEW MORE BUCKS TO AVOID THE TROUBLE THAT I AM FACING RIGHT NOW.

Good product.
This product is good in its range but cant take load of Rode NT 1 A and its shock mount togther perfectly. Since Rode NT 1 A and its shock mount weight aprox 1.5 kg when attached to it... it gets bent a little.. but over all it is a good one.

Looks and feels a lot sturdier than I thought it would be and yet it retains a very light weight. Excellent choice for an overhead stand for pencil condenser mics but maybe not the first choice for heavier vocal or instrument mics. Highly recommended.

Having bought a different model about a year ago and using it every week, I found myself needing a replacement at short notice and decided upon this model. The surprise to me was how small the package was (mic stand... not a personal reference) but how ingenious this particular model is. The stand is no more than (less than probably) 2 foot long. My first reaction; before playing with it, was "how an earth is this going to be big enough?!" but it is! The base has a clasp locking system rather than a threaded knob and the central pole houses an extending pole to take you up beyond Hobbit height (which is about my height). This functionality is found to be really useful when mic-ing up amps as it sits a little over 2 foot heigh when not extended; meaning your boom is not having to over extend. For vocalists, this mic stand is perfectly adequate too... Unless you're over about 6'2"... In which case you might want to choose a different stand as I'm not sure this would reach much beyond that height. For the more challenged in height like me... Or even 'average'... This stand is perfect.

Boom super ligero.
