An Important and Valued Therapeutics Addition
Thank you.We have two shower areas at home. I placed this tub inside one of them, as seen in the photo. I decided to place this tub indoors because the Puerto Rican climate is year-round harsh. It is also hurricane season here right now at the time of this review. I just like to keep plastic like this tub is made of protected from the sun, mold, animals, and whatever.I have a dehumidifier inside this shower area to help keep the moisture level down, and there are two windows in this area i open up. They provide cross currents of the Caribbean winds to flow throughout.And. The water in the tub can easily be drained into the shower drain. I made sure to point the two drain holes next to the shower drain before filling the tub up with water.I am 5 foot 4 inches and am a 135-140 pounder. I bought the extra large size to allow me to stretch out and move about. This size allows me to do that. I once had a very small ice tub that i had to sit upright and tightly in a fetal-like position. That felt too constricting.I have noticed that this plastic ice tub smells and feels healthier than the plastic of the other ice tub i previously had. This is a big deal. Thanks for the healthier plastic.I placed a step ladder, with a handle, next to the tub. This helps me get in and out of the tub safely, and comfortably for my height, and older age. This larger size makes it harder to keep the water ice cold, but i don’t mind that the water is not freezing cold. I feel relaxed and benefited, during and after a soak - even when it’s only 2-3 minutes long - with a cool temperature. I expect to use this water for a few more times before needing to drain and refill the tub with cleaner or healthier water.I do make sure to shower and exfoliate my skin, in the other shower, before entering this tub. This cleansing helps keep the tub water healthier or cleaner. Thanks again.

This tub is huge!
This is the biggest portable round tub I’ve seen so far! A lot of other tubs say they are large, or even extra large, but they are not even as big as this one! This tub says it holds 126 gallons, and I haven’t tested that theory, but from the measurements I took, that’s pretty close!I measured the tub from the floor to the top of the inflated ring, and it was indeed 29.5”, if not a little higher. I measured the inside diameter of the inflated ring, and it was at least 33” across! The outside diameter of the inflated ring was larger than my yardstick could measure (which is probably the 39.5” stated on the Amazon page)! I went to a cylinder volume calculator online and using 29.5” as the height and 39.5” as the diameter, the volume was calculated to be 156.5 US Gallons. Now of course, I’m not going to fill it all the way up to the top of the inflated ring, so if I deduct around 4” from the top, that calculates to 135 US Gallons. The walls of the tub are probably a little less in diameter than the outside of the inflated ring, too. So that would also bring the volume down to around the 126 gallons they stated. So I believe that is likely accurate. The point is, this tub is really big, and being a little bigger-sized myself, I like having that extra room to sit down in a relaxed position without my legs being crowded or tightly folded. I also find that it’s a little more comfortable to sit on one of those hot tub booster seat pillows rather than on the very floor of the tub. A soft mat or a few folded towels placed under the tub also add some nice cushioning and protect the bottom of the tub.The tub itself seems to be very sturdy. The walls are nice and thick and all the seams are well-constructed. The top ring inflated easily and fully and didn’t leak air even when I took the pump out of the valve. I like that it comes with an elasticized cover as well as an inflatable top to insulate the water temperature. About the only thing that really surprised me about this tub, especially given its substantial capacity, was the fact that the support legs were made out of plastic instead of metal. I literally was able to bend the support legs just with my hands. If the company seeks to improve this product, that would be the first thing I would suggest – replace the plastic legs with metal legs that screw together and are strong enough not to bend at all.

Needs lots of Ice
This inflatable tub comes in multiple sizes. It is necessary to measure the area that you’ll place this tub. Also, it will require ALOT of ice. Yes, you can use cold water and minimal ice , but that pretty much defeats the purpose. It’s not a pool. There is good insulation and it is great for recovery. The bag is helpful. It makes the tub easy to store. I recommend the tub.

Decent cold plunge tub!
Seems pretty well made and holds me, my wife and our little lady all at once!Admittedly it is cramped with all three but the little lady doesn't stay in long.Great for one person, but if you're going to invite in another, you'd best both be comfortable with being close lol.I have it out on the balcony which is a few stories up. I was concerned about the weight on the balcony but after doing the math it weighs about as much as 12 people and I've had 12 people out there with no issues so I did it.I'm still slightly concerned about it leaking or breaking and all the water dropping down in a wave ... but I'll deal with that if it happens. I have insurance.I'm going to leave it out there over the winter to continue using it. I've just installed a small 2000W heater to keep it from freezing and so far so good although we haven't yet had any days where the average temp is below freezing. I'll update the add if things go south in the upcoming months.Till then and for now it is a super easy 5 stars!

We finally have an ice tub
My roommate has been wishing for an ice tub since last year after we had our previous request get cancelled. The opportunity presented itself once again and without a second word, *click*.Now we have an ice tub and no ice. So my roommate headed out and bought two large bags of ice.We assembled the tub, basically just fit standing pipes into the tub, closed open spouts, and then filled it with ice + water. We jumped in (yes, three of us) simulataneously, spilled lots of water, and then shivered a lot. First one to get out lost. It was a battle of wits-- I lost.Anyways, it holds water and does not leak. As far as I'm concerned, it shouldn't rip as long as we operate it normally. There are multiple lid layers to prevent debris from falling into the tub while unused.

Strong built and good customer service
I heard that ice bath is good for one’s health and so when I come across this I decide to give it a try. There are 2 sizes you can choose from. I suggest to order the larger one if it is for adult. But larger one means need more water to fill up which means larger water bill. This is something need to consider. The larger one has a diameter of 39.5 inches and a height of 29.5 inches. The material used is fully compliant with USA CA65 environmental certification standards. The tube is made with multi-layered and tear-resistant material including waterproof PVC, tough nylon, and super light pearl foam. It provides good thermal insulation which effectively maintains the low temperature inside the bath tub. It also comes with a protective cover and thermo lib to cover the tub while not in use.Installation is quite straight forward. There is a video on the web site and I suggest you view that video first. I have installed a rain barrel before and the instruction is quite similar. Each leg is consists of 2 parts which is a bit hard to connect by hand unless you have a strong hand. So I use a light hammer and tap it in without problem. And then I have to pump air into the top circular tube. A manual pump is provided. This pump works surprisingly efficient and doesn’t take a long time. Please make sure you just pump in enough air but not excess. Otherwise you risk damaging this circular tube. The whole process takes about 15 minutes to finish. And then I notice there is a strong odor. According to the instruction I should leave it in a ventilation area for several days to let the odor go away. And I have an issue during installation and so I contact the seller. The seller responds quickly and gets my issue resolved. I am impressed by the good service which this seller provides.I couldn’t find any warranty info and so I assume there isn’t any. But if you encounter problem after the 30 days return period you can contact the seller to see whether they can help.
