I was so pleased with this purchase. I love Father Figure perfume and wondered if this would actually have enough of that fragrance and I’m happy to say it did! Not too strong or weak and the deodorant actually keeps me dry and controls odor perfectly for me. The only complaint I have is that the product does tend to “unroll” and go back into the plastic case and can be a little scratchy so I have to roll it back out. I’ll just plan to roll it out more than I do my other deodorants but it’s not a real issue for me at all. It does stay up, just not as much as I wish it did. Yes, it’s worth the money and it smells great, does what a deodorant is supposed to do. Great way to layer on the scent!

The scent is strong but not overwhelming. My armpits will smell like a Wendy’s #8 meal when I use certain non toxic deodorant and I have yet to wreak of onions yet. The vanilla skin scent is warm and rich, which I love since other deodorant scents give me a headache with how fruity or earthy they smell. Highly recommend and worth the price. Also, I have not experienced the white residue others have commented about, but I’ve only been using this for 24 hours.

This is the absolute best, I wish I found this sooner! The smell is a delicate vanilla that is perfection. I’m trying to find a perfume and lotion that are this exact scent but no luck so far - their perfume version of this is slightly different. I want to roll this on my arms, it’s so good! The deodorant works great and lasts all day for me. The packaging also feels so luxe to the touch!

I can’t use anything with baking soda, which makes finding natural deodorant hard, most of ones I’ve found without it are completely useless. This is the most effective natural deodorant I’ve found so far, and it smells amazing with my body chemistry. The vanilla skin option smells lovely, but something awful happens when it combines with my sweat, and it’s a hot garbage can with a vanilla cake on top. I docked a star because of size- it’s less product that comparable brands like salt and stone (whose scents i like even more but can’t use due to the baking soda) and nessesaire. I wish they’d expand the range.

BEST DEODORANT! I have been STRUGGLING finding a more natural deodorant. This one is a little pricey but worth the money! I can smell it constant unlike other deodorants and it smells so dang good. Withstands my sweat all day! Honestly I do get very stinky and this has saved me! If you’re debating just buy it! Love it!

I was SO excited when I saw phlur come out with a deodorant version of father figure. It's a become a signature scent for me. Unfortunately it literally has NO scent at all. Like i stick the deo stick right under my nose and cant smell a thing. Which is absolutely crazy to me because Phlur is a perfume company. The target market for this product is looking for something with a scent, probably even more scented than usual deodorant. So for it to have zero smell, especially for 20$ is ridiculous. It was a waste of money. As for the effectiveness i can't speak to that because i used it a few times and then never again because there is literally zero point to this product. I could get a cheaper unscented deo with a similar formula elsewhere. I dont think i have ever left an amazon review before. But I want consumers to know, and hopefully for phlur to actually scent their perfume scented deodorant.

I’ve tried so many natural deodorants, and most either gave me a rash or didn’t work at all. But this one from Phlur is a total game changer. The Vanilla Skin scent is light, warm, and not overpowering—just a really pleasant, clean smell that lasts. Best of all, no irritation or redness, which is a huge win for my sensitive skin. It goes on smooth with no residue and keeps me feeling fresh all day. I’m so glad I gave this a try!

Packaging:Is there supposed to be any sort of sanitary seal on these deodorants? First time order showed up loose in an Amazon bag mailer, without tape or shrink wrap. There is a rounded plastic lid within the main lid, but it wasn’t sealed either.Used Product:Unfortunately, my fears were confirmed when I opened the bottle and found a hair and specks of dirt/lint on the deodorant itself. See photos. It’s not insanely dirty, but I also wouldn’t want to use the product after someone else did. Nor should I have to.Vanilla Skin Scent:In the bottle, Vanilla Skin smells nice and complex. Not like a fake vanilla or desert. The jasmine note (which I’m generally not a fan of) doesn’t stand out to me. It’s not too feminine. I think it would complement a variety perfumes/colognes with sandalwood esk notes. Scents often give me a headache, but I doubt this one would bother me. It’s not a super strong scent, but it’s not weak either. I can’t speak to how it smells on, but I’m hopeful it would wear well and last— of course these things will vary person to person based on PH etc.Closing thoughts:- I hate reading reviews from people who haven’t tried the actual product, but wanted to warn others of a possible sanitary issue!- I hope this bottle was a return fluke and that new products are sealed properly before leaving the factory.- I plan to ask for refund for this product and go to a store irl to repurchase it.- There’s a lot to look forward to in trying this deodorant. After years of using Native deodorant (and starting to smell skunky, a common report on Reddit) I’m specifically looking for a BHA deodorant to neutralize the source of the oder. I like the scent and hope it will wear well on me.- Unless this product is normally sealed, I suggest you pick up the product irl, so you can inspect it before buying.
