MEEDEN Art Supplies Storage Cart: 5-Tier Solid Beech Wood Utility Rolling Cart with 3 Drawers - Craft Orgnizer on 4 Wheels

I saw this art cart on YouTube watching Paint Coach. I thought it looked functional. I looked at other carts but they looked big a bulky. I have limited space. I measured the space that it would fit against my wall. If it were too long I could take the paint brush extension off. I did not have to take the extension off. The cart is made of beechwood, solid no particle board. It is sturdy and rolls easy no wobbling. I'm pleased it has locking castor's. Because of a review I read that said the drawers were tight and didn't slide easily. I am happy to say you can adjust the tightness of the drawer slide at the hex bolt drawer stop. It had everything needed for assembly including the screw driver and hex key. It was easily assembled. I think it is a good value and looks great with my beechwood easle.

I am setting up a place for my oil paints, brushes, mediums, etc. separate from my acrylic work. I wanted everything I would need to be in one place. I had no trouble putting it together, although you really have to check and double check those directions. I only made one mistake--a warning to all--I put the top piece on backwards because nothing in the directions indicated a front/back. You had to notice in the picture the 3 tiny holes that indicated front from back. Very unhelpful. It doesn't really matter except that the brush holder is facing the wrong way. (I doubt I would use that feature much anyway.) I also recommend an electric screwdriver for those 24 holes you have to drill to attach the major pieces. That little screwdriver they give you would take forever. It is lovely although the finish is easily marred, so treat it kindly.

Nice, but the First piece to assemble (the Base part for connecting the side walls) has NO Pre-drilled holes to screw into!! So you have to apply much pressure down (while screwing BY HAND) to inert the first 12 screws.. Also, it is difficult to screw by hand in tight quarters against the Pre-assembled side walls. (Woman with small hands here) it might be better if “the side walls” weren’t pre-assembled & had better close up images in the instructions (with each zone zoomed in) of assembly rather than a large overview only. It would be easier with a Compact cordless drill. I did by hand the initial screwing then I could bearly Tighten down the screws fully Flat with a “Ryobi One” Drill.This is because of the pre-assembled side walls making a tight working environment.. I it is better suited for a Compact size drill. I wish I had one for this situation.

I considered less expensive alternatives but in the end I decided to pay more for a quality product knowing that it will last years rather than pay two or three times replacing a cheap product every one or two years. In the end, paying more now will actually save me money over the long run.

Like the item. The quality control check is lacking. Cart arrived with no visible signs of damage to the shipping box. Taking it out of the box all well packaged. Started assembly the brush holding tray was cracked and one metal holder was not attached (thus the crack). Side bracing for shelves no holes for the screws to be screwed in. Drilled them and fitted the screws ourselves. I have noticed on other reviews of Meeden Products that similar promblems have been noted. I wanted to buy a new easel from Meeden but now I think I will look elsewhere. Expensive product that should arrive with little or no problems. Unfortunately not the case it would seem with Meeden Products.

The Meeden 5 Tier Art Cart is an excellent addition to my art studio. I have been searching for something that would accommodate my brushes, paints, pallet knives, and other tools....but, it had to have wheels. I tend to move my easels around the studio and often work more than one easel so, having something that could roll to another easel was a must. This is constructed with solid beech wood, metal corner brackets, metal drawer pulls, includes the stainless brush wash, and has four built-in casters which roll smoothly, providing easy mobility around my studio.The inclusion of drawers makes organization so simple, allowing me to store various art supplies conveniently with easy access while at the easel. I love that I can choose place my long handle brushes straight or sideways in the drawers without any issues. The tray top has a removable pallet. While I prefer my handheld French pallet, the fact that the included pallet is removable allows for you to easily clean it when you get paint on it and provides a moisture barrier on the top tray/working surface. The cart's design offers ample storage space without taking up much floor space, making it a practical solution for artists with limited room. Plus, this cart is very attractive with a touch of sophistication.Overall, the Meeden 5 Tier Art Cart not only enhances the functionality of my studio but also adds a visually pleasing element with its quality wood construction. I am so excited to have this cart and view it as a valuable asset in my art studio.

I am an oil painter and I needed to organize my materials. This cart is roomy and beautiful. It was easy to assemble and the palette paper was easy to pull off. I am a daily painter and I work from my pochade box so I use the palette as another shelf. I would encourage placing a liner in the drawers. It is very sturdy and should last a lifetime. I am pleased with my purchase!
