The cannon works as depicted in the video. For a Chinese-made item, it’s surprisingly well-made. At $40, the price is a little high though. If I had it to do over, I would probably not buy this one, I’d spend a little more money and get a better one.

This thing is great. High quality construction and materials, looks neat. With proper training and marksmanship you will never have kids on your lawn again.I'm just guessing about that, I haven't actually fired it yet, but it's really cool.

The firecrackers you need to really make this work well are a lot more powerful than the typical flashlight crackers.

This is a nice Cannon, shipping took a little longer but it was delivered by UPS.(not a big deal) Seems to be well made and a bit larger than I expected which is good and bad. The cannon breech functions well and has a good a seal. The recoil function works but in my area we don't have firecrackers powerful enough for it to fully function. Overall a nice functional piece. The only thing I could say negative is there are some flaws on the tube they used to hold the barrel but it's covered by paint and you have to really look to see them.

The media could not be loaded. UPDATE: I was sent a replacement due to the bend barrel. It was delivered in a couple days and works just fine. It's a lot of fun!! I did search for some oversized firecrackers, the normal crackers just couldn't get the recoil to work, but you can see these work fine.-------------They are sending a replacement so I will update my review accordingly. The barrel is bent! This is never good on any cannon. The recoil was not functional which made me look closer. The video shows the flawed barrel wobbling back and forth.

Cool product and well built. We couldn’t get the fireworks to shoot like the advertisement.

Toys 4 big boys

Use wadding between the charge and the cannon ball. For cannon balls we use 1/2" ball bearings, and the charge is a standard firecracker, nothing very big.At first we were disappointed because the ball would just barely roll out after the bang. We figured it must be a pressure issue, so used a scrap of paper towels to shore up any room between the charge and the barrel. After that, it was a thing of beauty.4 stars because they don't include directions or much information.It's a very well built toy though. Should last a long time.
