Crime & Punishment

Not an easy but an incredibly rewarding one. This is far less about the crime itself and far more about guilt, morality, and the human conscience. It includes morally complex characters like Raskolnikov, Svidrigailov, Sonya, etc. Consider this a very slow read for most part and a lot of yapping.

Awesomeeee book and the quality of the book and pages are amazing , this is the best translation

Wont write a thing about the story, I'm sure you guys know enough if you've decided or are pondering about reading this. The translation is good, although a little confusing at times with names, and doesn't explain that Sonya, Sonechka, and Sofia are basically the name person, just different ways of using the same name. But so far I'm happy with the translation. Now, the book, this is a replaced version, the first one was damaged, the packaging was effortless beyond explanation, just a paper bag and the book put inside it, and nothing else to protect the structure of the book. First, they didn't deliver the book, then they delivered a terrible version of the book that was used or had been carelessly handled for god knows how many months. Upon replacement too, the packaging was the same but somehow this book is not as damaged as the one prior to this. Binding and spine is great, unlike the last book, cover is okayish, not damaged, there's a small scratch or something on the spine but it doesn't bother me. The colour is fading away from one side of the spine, and my initial thought was to let this go too but I really wanted to read this and the book is alright, and the printing is great with no signs of prior use or bad handling, so all good.

This is 100% genuine product…not counterfeit so happy

Best packaging and genuine book...😊

The book has the one of the best storytellings I've ever read. It captures you and puts you into St Petersburg too. It's almost 700 pages but I was able to finish it in 15-20 days. Language wise I think it's not that hard. If you think you're fluent in English, I'm sure you can read it easily as far as comprehension goes. The characters, concept, and ideas are def thought provoking. The cover is gorgeous but I broke the spine while reading, but it's a beautiful book regardless. The delivery condition was also proper

The book arrived today, and overall I'm happy with my purchase. The content and print quality are good, and it was well worth buying. The only issue is that the corners of the book were slightly damaged during delivery. It's a very minor defect and doesn't affect reading, but I expected it to arrive in perfect condition. Apart from that, everything is great. Overall, I'm satisfied with the purchase and would recommend it.

The book is good, but unfortunately, it arrived with damaged corners and worn edges. It's still manageable for reading, so I'm keeping it. However, I expected better packaging and a book in better condition. Overall, the book is fine for reading, but I hope future buyers receive it in better condition.

Not everyone chapter is a banger but those chapters that slap, which is most of the time, really are incredible! I love Razumikhin so much too! Worth a read!

It’s clear why this is a favourite classic. Dostoevsky captures how poverty, pride and a single terrible choice can pull someone apart. The book isn’t just about the crime. It’s about what happens afterwards, when guilt and isolation start to eat you. Heavy, but unforgettable. Still worth reading. Will keep this book!
