Can someone tell me what these do at £34 when I can buy well reviewed alternatives for £3. Is it for the Bose logo or do they actually perform?

It wasn’t that price when I bought mine! Personally I’d go with a well reviewed but cheaper alternative, it is after all just an adaptor, not something that reproduces sound which is arguably where Bose does better!

I seem to remember that the fittings were different between economy and business class on the last BA flight I did. Went out one, came back another, and I think the fitting was different in economy. That was couple of years ago, so may have changed now. I think an ordinary 3.5 m one worked in economy. Best wishes, Nigel.

Is this product compatible with all 3.5mm headphones or just bose ones?

Yes this item is compatible with all headphones that have a 3.5mm pin and even those that dont! Would need adaptor for the adaptor though! :)

The one I have appears to be yellow coloured but I don't know if it is gold plated, whatever it is, it works fine with my Bose in ear headphones
