Effective, reliable and sturdy insect screen
This insect screen works so reliably year after year that I've added three sets to my home. Living on the Gulf Coast where mosquitos can be a year-round problem, I appreciate that the mesh is fine enough to keep these pests out.Installation is easy and takes just a few minutes, and the included parts ensure that the screens will stay attached to the door frame throughout daily use. Constructed with a heavy-duty mesh, the fabric is durable and has a weighted bottom that prevents the screen from flying around on a windy day. The self-healing magnetic borders ensure that the screens close tightly as soon as you (and your pets) pass through them. Plus, snap-tabs allow you to hold the screens open (keeps dogs from scratching through them) when not in use.

Well made
I’ve been seeing these for years and just didn’t believe it would work as advertised. I finally read some reviews and started to believe it might. This seemed like a much better answer than installing an actual screen door between our garage and kitchen, and for the price, we decided to try it. We LOVE it!Installation was super quick and easy. The mesh feels substantial and of good quality, and the magnets are strong and work great. The screen almost always closes on its own after we walk through it, but we have a metal door at that entry, so occasionally one side sticks to the door.We love to be able to open doors and windows when the weather allows and now we can finally get a cross draft through our kitchen without the cost and hassle of installing a real screen door. We are extremely happy with this purchase!

Worked really well, easy to install
This was an excellant find and we loved it, worked well. Easy to train our dog to go right through it - with a few treats ;)Easy to install and we had NO problem with bugs getting through. My only complaints, after a full year of use is that 1) it is VERY faded, now grey, but it did get FULL sun, so not surprising. 2) the taped side of hte velcro on the door frame wore out and kept coming off so we had to add a few small nails into the frame. 3) we had to take it off to get our house painted and the sticky side pulled off the paint, which wasn't a big deal since we were getting the house painted. But now I'm concerned about putting it back up - how do I replace the one side of the velcro (taped side) and will it pull off the paint again?Overall, very pleased, it does what it says it will do. Just concerns for longevity and taking it down in a way that doesn't damage our house trim.

Easy to Install
Worked great for our trailer, keeps 90% of the bugs out and almost always closes itself. It was easy to install and also has straps to hold the curtains back if you do not need to use them. Seems very durable.

Keep the bugs out
This is the second time Im purchasing this product as I love it. It was easy to apply the velcro/adhesive mount. The entire installation can be done in under 10mins. The adhesive part is exact in length so there is no room for error. Luckily its very easy to do. The magets are strong enough to always keep the screen closed but also make walking through easy. Great product overall.

I LOVE this magnetic screen door, it works perfectly!
I LOVE this magnetic screen door! Before purchasing, I measured the door opening, and saw that the screen was wider than the inner door jamb, but there are three jambs in that doorway; I don't know why that is, but it means plenty of clearance to close the service porch door when necessary. (Thank you to the reviewers who described how to fit the screen to a narrower door.)I put this on our Amazon wish list then sent my husband a message to check it out to make sure it would work. He completely missed my message with all the measurements, happened to see it in the wish list and bought it. Teamwork. Cool. /sIf you ask him, it was a PITA to install, but he's a perfectionist (he works with close tolerances as a machinist). From my perspective, as a, "skilled handyman" he instinctively knows what to do. Everytime. [I'm hiring him out when he retires. People always need a trustworthy handyman, am I right?] When the magnetic screen door arrived, he got out all his "handyman equipment", like a step stool and a plank to stand on to make the screen door easier to install. He applied the velcro around the plain wood door jamb, then attached the magnetic screen door's velcro to that. (You get one chance with the strip of velcro with the sticky back against the wall. Don't sweat it. A supply of special tacks with low (head) profiles are included to keep that piece of velcro well attached to the wood jamb. The tacks don't interfere with adhering the magnetic screen door's velcro.)I knew the magnetic screen door was going to be adjustable as I watched his progress. The screen went up, and the magnets didn't stay closed at first along certain points down the middle. Mandatory &%@! from him. When that stopped, I calmly suggested realigning the magnetic screen door's velcro to the velcro applied around the door jamb, starting at the top on each side, and moving down 6" at a time, and VOILA! The magnets connected all the way down the middle! It took less than 45 minutes to put up (remember, he's a perfectionist, it shouldn't take more than 30-45 minutes to install). The magnets down the center separate to open easily with a light touch, then return to a (completely) closed position.Ladies, if you're a "handywoman" with some experience, you'll find this relatively easy to install by yourself. I am not that, and need a "handyperson" to help with these types of projects.Getting my small Yorkie to push through the magnets took one round of positive reinforcement (I put one of her treats on the stair on the other side of the screen to get her to go out doors, then a treat on the floor inside the house so she'd push the magnetic screen door open to get back in. The magnets open easily. By the second day the magnetic screen door was up, she'd figured it out and got over her fear of "the new". (Note: If you have pets and they hesitate to go in and out, check their food and water bowls to make sure they haven't stopped eating. If they are eating, make sure they're going out to do their business!)Almost forgot the most important part! No flies, no mosquitos, no moths, no other flying insects can get through the magnetic screen door and into the house! That has been *wonderful* for three days now! Will touch base down the road on the durability of the magnetic screen door.

Fantastic screen
Love this screen, much better than ones I’ve had in the past. I was concerned that the adhesive wouldn’t stick to stucco, but it absolutely does with no issues. I did also use the tacks provided, they are an awesome additional measure to secure the screen and they hammered easily into the stucco. This is a perfect solution since my rental has no screen doors and we like to enjoy our cool mountain breezes. Plus my dog loves it, he can now go in/out into the yard as he pleases and he figured out how to push on the screen gently to enter/exit within minutes. Very happy with the strong magnets that grab every time and overall screen fabric quality, the extra items included and fast shipping. Might buy another one for another door!

Strong and effective
This item was purchased to replace a previously fitted screen that had ripped. It is strong and durable and fitted seamlessly into the frame with the supplied Velcro strips. The closure is soft and effective in returning to the magnetic lock position ( and very quiet too)...no click-click-clicking as the magnets attached, only a cushioned closing sound. The joining magnets are perfectly aligned when mounted....but as others say, make sure it's in a closed position when mounting to ensure this. All in all very pleased with the purchase and much better than previously bought cheaper items that are sold commonly in other shops. Would definitely recommend this. Measurements are precise so it is advisable that you measure the assessable frame of the door that would enable attaching as the item would not be designed to be trimmed. Mine is on the outside as the door opens inwards and holds perfectly on the aluminium frame. Great product and priced well accordingly.

Works very well if installed properly
Before I bought this one, I had picked up a door screen some time ago because I had seen it at a friends cottage and like the one at their cottage... it fell apart, ripped and was generally useless at keeping bugs out effectively after a couple weeks/months of usage. This one... fits perfectly and works perfectly... The 2 sided tape sticks well and has survived the winter with no problems. Previous screen we had to tack and glue all around the screen to have it not come off the doorframe and even then, it ripped easily. The magnets are sewn into this screen (our previous one they clipped on, weren't as strong and then broke. They also were too far apart.) If you install it well, it snaps together after you walk through perfectly! The screen is heavier and weighted at the bottom and perfectly seals the door when not in use. It still looks brand new after a full year of usage. After the first one we bought fell apart, I almost didn't buy another and was thinking of getting a roll away screen, but they are expensive and this style is great for when your hands are full. I am glad I picked this one up. It is working very well and does exactly what it should. A couple small nitpicks and comments. If you leave this on through the winter, it is best to pull it back so it is permanently out of the way. Moving through the screen when it is frozen in snow at the bottom will likely cause rips and tears to happen. So I tried using the provided snap on ties to do that and they immediately ripped and weren't strong enough to hold the screen back. I ended up tieing the screen back with strings on both sides over the winter. Another note to those that are thinking of buying it. If you have a metal door or door frame... the magnets will quite often stick to the door, so it won't close completely after you walk through as the bottom magnet will attach to the door or frame. This is not a design flaw of the screen... simply an annoyance if you happen to have a door frame or door that will attract the magnets as you move through it.

Easy to install
To block possible oily smoke we installed this screen. It's easy to install. The glue sticks on metal and wood easily and hardly, but not on painted wall. Cleaning is easy. Material quality is good. Worth the money.
