Great Toy
Some of the joints are a little stiff which can make other parts pop off during transformation, though Iβd rather joints start of stiff than lose. At $20 this is a good transformer and my 3 year old loves its, itβs a shame Amazon was charging upwards of $40 for this earlier well beyond MSRP.

Small but mighty
Purchased this and the Alpha Trion of the same line together, was expecting to be more interested in Trion but this fella has been a lot of fun. The weak wrists bring him down sometimes, but he feels really nice in both modes, well painted, and feels nice in the hand. Would easily recommend this over the studio series rendition, itβs cheaper and nicer to look at with really nice shades of plastic used.

Looks great. But it's got issues.
Pros first. Figure looks great. In my opinion, probably one of if not the best looking Orion Pax option available. Transformation is smooth and enjoyable and he's reasonably posable.Cons. The hands came off really easily and made removing his weapon from his hand an absolute nightmare. I ended up gluing his hands in place, which shouldn't have been necessary and caused issues with the appearance of the vehicle mode.Mega con. This is just beyond over priced. $45 for a Deluxe figure tells me it should be perfect. It feels like they priced this thing to wring money out of Orion Pax fans. And given the fact that people are paying this much for him, I'd say it's working.I still love the little guy, but it's not worth the price point. If I were to give any advice, it would be to wait until this guy shows up in stores at the proper price.Update. He's now available in multiple chain stores. Don't buy from here unless you have literally no other options.

QC issues bring this down
It was wierd. When I preordered this originally a couple weeks back they had placeholder images of the 40th Anniversary G1 Blaster for this listing. I preordered just in case, even though it had something like TF8 ADMIRAL as the name of the listing. I eventually ended up getting the figure of Orion instead, but no big deal since I still wanted this.Unfortunately, the hands are super wobbly and don't stay secure in the arms. If you try to use the axe accessory on the right hand, it just flops since the wrist isn't secure in the forearm, and pulling the weapon out often results in the fist falling out of the forearm. The left arm is better and more secure. The box also came damaged with scratch marks on the front, if you care about details like that. I'm considering going to Hasbro support to see if they can do something. The figure itself looks super cool to look at, but it's not that fun to play with unfortunately.

The box got here smushed
I love how the figure looks and everything been looking to own a transformer since i was little. I disappointed with how bad the box came here, wish they could care more about peoples packages, but loving the figure and waiting for d-16 to arrive. π₯π
