Surpassed expectations all around.
I replaced the ShengWey PZ30 carburetor on my 2020 Hawk 250 (same engine as most imported 250cc bikes) after reading suggestions on various online forums, I decided to buy this VM26 Mikuni clone and a variety pack of main jets. I installed a 110 size main jet and changes the air fuel screw to 1-1/2 turns from bottomed out (gently). Installation was very easy, all hardware was of good quality and carburetor overall felt of quality materials. The engine cold started immediately and ran the smoothest it ever has without having any throttle input during warmup even on the middle choke position. I turned up the curb idle screw slightly. After a 20 mile test ride, I am very happy with the outcome. The engine is much smoother and has more power across the whole rpm range, it revs higher and decels beautifully. I will be ordering a pilot jet kit as this comes with a #20 and I feel it could be enrichened more so with only positives to gain.

Perfect replacement carb for TBR7 Tao Tao 250cc
This carburetor is a Mikuni clone which is absolutely fine. It is a direct replacement for the pZ30 stock carb that comes on the TBR7 TT250cc. Air fuel mixture is accessible for tuning, comes with a 100 Main jet and adjustable needle as well as an entire rebuild kit.20 minutes to install on my bike, 2 bolts and 1 screw.The TBR7s ship very lean from the factory with an 88 Main jet, they take forever to warm up and need the choke up even in June (NY).Dropped this carb in and to my absolute amazement, it did not even need choke....now she purrrrrssss like a kittenAbsolutely worth the money!

Works perfect
The stock carb on my Pentora 250 ATV is so lean it takes 10 minutes of starting it 20 times before it would idle. Even when warm the quad is a DOG! Good thing they didn’t let me test ride it, I wouldn’t have bought it. This carb is smaller than the stock one, 26mm vs 30mm but it runs awesome. 2x the power, much better at every RPM. Starts and idles right away. I took the bowl off to clean before install, it looked very clean though. The installed jet is a 100. I haven’t done it yet but looks like the stock choke lever and bracket can be put on, the carb style is the same. Installed like stock.

Great Carb but may leak.
Bought this back in November 2017. The setting were perfect had to set the idle. It was a quick install for the Apollo 250cc, it would start the bike without no problem and ran magnificent. Now 8 months later and the screw bowl is beginning to leak fuel. Causing it to idle improperly, obviously this is causing the bike to shut off. I would recommend the carbuerator but wouldn't expect a long life.

Perfect fit
I purchased this after getting fed up with the carb on my 1980 Honda Xr200. It’s affordable, and works great. Everything fit very well, holes matching up perfect. It is built and produced very well, you can tell when taking it apart. After a little float adjustment my bike finally runs. I’m very happy with this purchase...oh and it came with a parts kit!!!

MIKUNI CARBURETOR
I HEARD GOOD THINGS ABOUT THIS COMPANY, THAT'S WHY I'M GIVING THEM A 3 STAR.AFTER I INSTALLED THE CARB IT REVVED SO HIGH IT MELTED MY EXHAUST SHIELD.THE IDLE SCREW WOULD NOT WORK. IT REVVED SO HIGH IN JUST ABOUT A MINUTE AND GOT SO HOTI THOUGHT IT WAS GOING TO BLOW UP MY ENGINE. I COULDN'T BELIEVE MY ENGINE GOT SO HOT SO QUICK. THATIT LITERALLY WAS GOING TO BLOW UP. TALK ABOUT PANIC, I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO DO. I FREAKED. I COULDN'T FIND THE KILL BUTTON, OR GRAB A WATER HOSE. I GOT IT SHUT OFF AND WAITED FOR THE SMOKE TO CLEAR.NOW I NEED TO BUY A NEW EXHAUST SHIELD FOR MY HAWK 250. AND NEW BOLTS. THEY ARE MELTED TO THE FRAME. THE HAWK DEALER IS 200 MILES FROM ME. NOW I NEED TO TAKE IT TO THE HAWK DEALER TO SEE IF IT HAS INTERNAL DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE. I'VE HEARD GOOD THING ABOUT THIS CARB, THIS ONE JUST DEFECTIVE. IT IS DEFECTIVE.A $30.00 CARBURETOR GOING TO COST ME HUNDREDS MORE AND TIME AND TRAVEL EXPENSE.NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET . MAYBE THIS WON'T HAPPEN TO YOU.RM.

Absolutely perfect!
Swapped perfectly with the crappy stock carb for the hawk 250. Took 10 minutes to install and im in no way shape or form a mechanic. When it arrived i changed to main jet to a 110 just cause i heard it tuns better, threw it in the bike and no other adjustments besides idle screw which dialed in perfectly no hassle. started up first try with no choke best carb i have ever used in these chinese bikes

Fantastic Improvement
I installed this carburetor on my Chinese Magician motorcycle in place of the original, I could not believe the difference. Starts easily. Idles smoothly. More power. I did, however, leave the cover off the airbox because I felt the bike was not breathing well. I think this added to the improvement.
