Entertaining and Tiring for my dog!
The media could not be loaded. My dog is obsessed and it tires her out pretty darn quickly. It's too loud for in the house and because she's so crazy, it's perfect for the dog run once I pick up all the droppings so it's not a hygiene issue for her to play with. It is basically that she wants to wrap her mouth around it which is physically impossible, so she's chasing it around trying to find a way to work her mouth around it. Very durable and easy to rinse and clean. Dries quickly. She's a 30 lb dog and this is the 12 inch. It seems like the negative reviews are for any size mouth that can actually puncture the thing. My girl absolutely can't get her mouth around this!

Wonderful for herding breeds
I have two pembroke welsh corgis that do herding and absolutely love these balls. This is the 8 or 9 inch ball and is perfect size for a corgi. I did get the 12 inch ball and it was a big too big for them. They are made out of a smooth hard plastic material that the dogs can't chew, and the ball gives my dog the needed exercise he needs to stay in shape herding. He works that ball around all over the yard. It's great for helping him learn his herding commands. Love it.

Used to be the best toy
Dear Sir/MadamI'm not usually one to write to manufacturers of products but felt I needed to this time.Several years ago our daughter purchased your Large Jolly egg for her bulldog. That egg has been a source of extreme joy and excitement since purchase. The endless play of trying to catch that egg has been awesome. Her dog still enjoys his egg today. When we found ourselves with a new dog, also bulldog breed, we knew what we needed for her and purchased the LG Jolly Egg. That Egg has been the very best toy we have ever had for a dog..and we've had several dogs and hundreds of toys. For 18 mths she has had the Egg once a day in an enclosed yard with our supervision. We stay to watch for 2 reasons; It's absolutely hilarious watching her chase it around the entire yard, yapping and yipping with excitement. And also because she completely exhausts herself and being a bulldog, won't give up until we hide it away for the day.We now have the egg in Florida with us (we're Canadian snowbirds). The dog park is perfect for her egg play. People in the park gather just to watch her with the egg. We have probably sold several Egg toys for you with our rave reviews! A couple weeks ago, she finally caught it into a corner and punctured it with her tooth. Being such great quality, the egg is of course still awesome but now she can grab it and carry it around. We immediately decided to order another one since her joy..and ours...comes from the herding, no catch aspect. The new egg arrived quickly. We took it to the park. Within 10 minutes she had punctured and dented the ball. The reason I'm writing is because I'm so disappointed that you have taken such an excellent product and quite obviously made the new ones with less or thinner plastic. Your blog states your dedication to quality and wanting the best products for pets. What a disappointment to see that the new Eggs are definitely not anywhere near the quality of the previous ones. I don't know when you decided to thin the plastic but my second egg is thinner and lighter than the original and thinner than our daughters product from years ago. The plastic even feels cheaper. Now, I'm regretting my excellent reviews to everyone who sees us with the egg, as they will not have the same great experience as we did before.I realize companies are always trying to make the most profit but in my opinion you have really ruined a great thing. I'm including 2 pictures. The most loved egg which lasted 18 mths without dents or punctures and the new Egg which lasted 10min.I would love to hear your explanation before I review the product more publicly. What a shame the product has changed.*NOTE* the company has never responded

Good toy, but not for my dog
My dogs do not care for this toy at all. It is durable, and not heavy, but they just don't have any interest in it. I was really hoping they would, since they love playing ball. I can say that there is no way my heavy chewer can bite a hole into it. He can't get his mouth around it at all. The toy make no nosie

Endless Fun & Nearly Indestructible!
The media could not be loaded. I got the Jolly Pets Jolly Egg (12-inch) for my dogs, and it has quickly become one of their favorite toys! If you have a high-energy, toy-destroying pup, this is a must-have.We have 2 Pitty babies and an old man lab.Durability – Tough as NailsI have multiple dogs, and they destroy most toys within minutes—but not this one! The hard plastic shell makes it nearly impossible to chew through, which is great for aggressive chewers. After weeks of play, there are only a few minor scuffs, but no cracks or punctures.Unpredictable Movement = Hours of PlayBecause of its egg-shaped design, it doesn’t roll like a normal ball. Instead, it bounces and spins in unpredictable directions, keeping my dogs engaged and entertained. They love chasing it around the yard, and it keeps them moving and active!Great for Outdoor PlayThis toy is best for large open spaces like a backyard or park. It’s too big for indoor play, but outside, it’s perfect for burning off energy. If your dog loves to herd or chase, they’ll be obsessed with this toy!Size Matters – Go Big!I got the 12-inch version, and it’s perfect for my larger dogs (50+ lbs). If you have a smaller dog, the 8-inch might be a better fit, but for big, strong dogs, the larger size ensures they can’t get their mouth around it and chew it up.Final Verdict: A Must-Have for Active DogsIf your dog needs more exercise, loves to chase, or tends to destroy every toy, the Jolly Egg is worth every penny. It’s one of the few toys that has lasted in my house, and my dogs are obsessed with it!✔ Pros: Super durable, unpredictable movement keeps dogs entertained, great for outdoor play✘ Cons: Loud on hard surfaces, not ideal for small indoor spacesWould I buy it again? Absolutely—it’s now a staple in our outdoor toy collection!

Quality reduction? Took only 10 minutes for our dog to bite into it
Our German Shepherd mix absolutely loves these eggs. When we got his first one, about 4 years ago, he was unable to damage it and it kept him busy for hours on end. Over the years we've replaced them, and now he has learned to sink his teeth into the middle of the egg so he can carry them. In only 10 minutes, it is damaged; I'm sure that was not the case a few years ago. We're quite disappointed because he loves them, and the Jolly brand have some excellent products.
