Have you ever been on a yoga mat and have just not had enough room to move about? That is how I have often felt. They are usually long enough, but the width has always been an issue. Of course, those smaller mats are easier to carry, so it makes sense, but I have always wished my legs wouldn't hit the cold ground. Well, now say goodbye to a cold leg because this mat takes everything to the next level. This mat is both wide and long! It comes with a travel bag, straps to keep it rolled up, and a bonus microfiber towel (not sure what the towel is for, but it's perfect to use as a dust cloth, so that's what I'm going to do with it).Whether you want to use this in your house or in a home gym, this is the perfect workout mat. You could definitely fit more than one person on it if you wanted, although you may knock into them. Probably too bulky to carry around, but say goodbye to falling off your yoga mat!

This is a nicely-cushioned large yoga mat. Even the 1/3" thickness is thicker than many other yoga mats. I found it quite nonslip in bare feet, even when I got sweaty. It did have a slight odor at first but that quickly resolved, and it lay reasonably flat even right out of the box. It's not quite as big as the highly-photoshopped splash photo (with the miniature people) would have you believe, but it will work well as a home yoga mat for very tall people. However, you will not make any friends by bringing this mat to a small studio for class, as it does tale up a fair bit of real estate. It includes a very generously-sized carry bag (almost awkwardly large), a pair of elastic keeper straps and a microfiber wiping towel. I would not recommend this mat for high-impact jumping exercise, but for low-impact exercise it's very good. I do think it is overpriced at $60.

I'm starting a new stretching program to go along with using my rowing machine. The machine has a video monitor and provides video stretching instruction and various "on-the-floor" workouts so it is ideal for me to do those routines in the garage where the rower lives. The issue is hard, bare concrete floor which can also be more dusty than someplace you really want to be lying down.I've done too things to make doing the routines in the garage more tenable for me. The first, is an outdoor rug that provides some cushion from the concrete but more importantly keeps me off the bare, dusty floor. The carpet gets folded up when it's not in use to prevent it from getting as dusty as the garage floor. Being an outdoor rug it isn't super comfortable to lay on for stretching so that was my goal in getting this large yoga mat and it has served that purpose great! I really appreciate how it comes with both a storage bag and straps for easy storage when not in use. Overall, a great find for something that is much more comfortable for someone tall like me.
