This is the BEST for puppies!! If you hide their dog food in this it will take your puppy a lot of time to sniff it out and eat their food. It helps them burn energy from the search and sniff too. We have two golden retriever puppies and bought this and another one and we love them! It’s pretty amazing that the puppies don’t chew this up too! Love it. I was not given anything to write this review and idk anyone that created or has anything to do with selling this product! All I can say Is for puppies it’s awesome!

We have a very spoiled little pup and I always feel so badly if I go anywhere without her! She can give me the saddest look known to man! I used to take treats and walk around the house and hide them, so she would have something to do while we were gone. But, it wasn't a very successful idea in that she would just follow me and eat most of the treats before we are even out the door! I also tried some of the gadgets that you put a treat in and she has to open doors or move things to find the treat. But our little girl is very smart and it didn't take long till she found all of the treats! So, I ordered this Snuffle Mat without a lot of hope that it would keep her busy for very long. However, it seems to work well! I hide a dozen or so small pieces of treats throughout the mat and it takes a bit of sniffing and digging for her to find all of the treats. I have seen her find some and then take a break, and go back later and find the rest. Now, when she sees me "loading" the Snuffle Mat, she gets very excited. She knows fun and treats are in her future! I now lay the mat on the floor as we are leaving the house and she is so busy sniffing for treats, she no long gives me that sad, forlorn look to make me feel badly! Thank you Lemonade for making my pup happy and ease all of my "Mommy" guilt!!

I had high hopes for this product because I am a dog trainer. I used a snuffle mat with one of my clients in the past and had very good results. I thought I'd try this brand, but unfortunately, I am going to return it because it had a strong, chemical odor when I removed it from the packaging. I tried washing it twice, but it still had the odor (not as strong, but it was still there). I don't know what caused this, but it was very strong and smelled toxic. I would not want to give this to a dog with food in it, so I am returning it.Update 8/9/19: The seller contacted me and apologized for the odor and explained that they sterilize the snuffle mats before sending them out. The seller also offered to send me another one. I accepted the offer, and I received the new snuffle mat today. I have to say that I am very happy with the new snuffle mat. No odor at all, and I will be happy to use this with my client's dog. Thank you to the seller for making this right, and I would recommend this product.

My dogs and I both absolutely LOVED these snuffle mats (I bought 2). They are pretty, soft, easy to clean, can be squished flat for storage and are tons of fun to hide treats in. Each dog responds differently. My chihuahua used the needle nose pliers method while my Boston used the excavator/scoop method. A definite must buy!!

We have a very busy 16 month old dog who loves puzzles and interaction. This fits the bill and keep him busy. I give him 1/2 his breakfast and a couple hours after our morning routine I put him on sit-stay, sprinkle treats or kibble in his new LEMONDA Pet Dog Snuffle Mat and tell him to Go Find-- he has a good time with 'finding' his treats. If your dog is a chewer I would keep any eye on them with any toy (as I've recently learned with some of his other toys). Have Fun, Pups!!

I was told to get this for my little Bichon Frise while she was undergoing intense therapy for her iliopsoas. She went crazy for it and loves it when I pull it out. I will stack it with approximately 10 treats and she goes crazy finding them. Then she will lie down on it and go to sleep...go figure. She is working on her UDX and Nose Work, but the latter takes 2nd place after her Utility Dog Excellent. Although she is very lively--a Fire Dog according to Chinese Medicine, at age 9, this will hold her complete attention as she dives into it for a minute or so depending on how many treats I put into it.

My dog loves it, even though it doesn’t take him long to get all his kibble out.My issue is that it didn’t smell until I washed it. It smelled so bad out of the washer, I put it outside in the sun to dry. Didn’t help.I used it for some time and washed it again, the smell is stronger than ever. Not sure if I can continue to let him use it further.🙁

My dogs love when I load this up - even when the food is their usual kibble. It keeps them busy for quite a while hunting through every spot to make sure they got it all. I love these, I put 2 down when I am leaving the house and they never even look at me as I walk out the door. I had 1 and ended up buying a second one so they each have one.

I have three dogs over the age of 10, one which is blind. The blind dog is not much into playing with regular toys and going for walks anymore, so I try and find stimulating toys to make his days enjoyable and entertaining. Happily, he loves this snuffle mat, as does his two brothers. All you need are some yummy treats, place them on top or hide them within the folds and fabric and you will give your dog a few minutes of happiness + physical and mental stimulation, which is what we all want for dogs, isn't it?I've read a couple of reviews on durability and I can say that the durability is fine for small dogs who are not chewers and are supervised whilst using the mat.

Love this snuffle mat. Quality and colours are good. Definitely slows down our 3 month puppy while eating dog biscuits especially if you fluff up the material after sprinkling the kibble. Provides good enrichment as they sniff out the food and keeps pup busy for 10 min or so. Happy with our purchase.

This is a great way to keep your pup busy. But if you have a dog that chews and is destructive I would keep an eye on them with this product. My pup pulled the material out and was chewing it after he found all the food.

Our puppy tends to scoff down his meals in a few seconds. He also tends to be hyperactive around meal times. This snuffle mat has been a big help with both problems. We sprinkle his kibble over it a fraction at a time. Spending the time to sniff out his meal and consume it slowly seems to lower his excitement level, and we get a break from some of his crazy behaviour.The mat seems to be fairly well constructed. When our puppy really wants to, he can pull out the tassles (?), but overall it has held up pretty well so far.

Though this item is not 19”x19” in size as described, it is about 17”x17” and about 3” high and is well made and great to get the dogs foraging for their treats and to slow down their eating. My dogs, from chihuahua to Labradors readily forage for treats in its thick threads and it keeps them happy and occupied. This was a repeat purchase. Very happy with item for my needs.
