I saw these and tested them with my grands kids at bath time.You will need to supply your own batteries, but thats it, the whale will light up with various LED's and the fountainesque water jets is fun for the kids.My elder grand daughter is a bit old at 3.5 but grand son loves it at 2 years, I suspect it would get more use if both with younger. The batteries doi take a bit of a hit so rechargeables is the best bet.Recommended fro fun bath times.

This is larger than I expected, filling my whole hand span. I like the sprinkler which is quite substantial, like a miniature fountain. The lights on the other hand are a little dubious as they flash quite quickly, giving more of a flashing rainbow effect rather than individual colours. My 10 month old enjoys the sprinkler. I'm not sure about the lights though. It would be good if one had the option of switching them off.

I put this in the bath with the many other toys and my son goes for this every time! It works well once you have put the batteries in, they’re not provided. It bobs about in the bath and squirts water out from the top. I think he wonders why it stops spraying when he picks it up! It’s well made and I’m happy he can pick it up and put it in his mouth as there’s no small parts that may break off. It’sa great addition to the myriad of bath toys he had and is clearly one of his favourites!

Operation couldn't be simpler; just pop it in the water and off it goes.This is battery powered, probably because of the difficulty of ensuring a watertight seal over a charging point. This is a fantastic toy. It's a lot of fun and provides great bath time entertainment. There are cool LED lights and a spray function too. It does require batteries, which is safe despite it being a water-based toy, but it does eat through their power incredibly fast. So if you're worried about battery/power usage then this might not be the right toy for you.
