The best diabetic test lance
I have purchased a number of these to keep where I keep my diabetic test strips and these work terrific. The battery lasts really long time and when it needs to be replaced, it’s easily available at any store. The needles stay sharp for a very long time.

Best Design
My old lancing device had broken while I was on vacation. I ordered the Microlet Next as a replacement. I love it! The design has a locking feature to take the top on and off. It also has an eject button for releasing the lancer after you are done. My prior device did not have that feature which is why I broke it trying to pull the lancet out. I just purchased two more of the Microlet Next devices to keep on hand. I have been diabetic for over 20 years and this is the best device I have seen on the market.

Adjusting finger prick is great!
Bought this to replace my old lancing device and wish I bought it months ago. The adjustment of 1 to 5 for depth is great! I set it at 2 and the point is so sharp I feel no pain at all.

Does not come with lances
You are purchasing a single lancing device, not a "kit", as no lances are included. My experience has been that the spring tension can vary from one device to another, and you should adjust the depth to match where on your finger you are lancing. Further down the finger between knuckles tends to have fewer nerve endings and plenty of blood. The lances can be wiped with your alcohol prep pad and used again which cuts down on cost and is perfectly safe if you are careful. If you need instructions and lancets, consider purchasing an entire kit at discounted pricing. Don't gripe to Amazon if you have issues with a product. Go directly to the manufacturer and they will likely endeavor to make you a satisfied customer for the long run. Diabetic supplies are BIG business, and they want yours!

Less painful than the one that came with my meter. Easier to use, too.

False advertisement - not as pictured
This did not arrive in the box as advertised. It did not include a lancet as pictured. It arrived in a plastic sleeve with no instructions. This is completely useless as-is.

Worst Packing and very Delicate product
The worst packing I have seen yet from Amazon for such a important and delicate product.
