this is a cute little box with great sound. you have to wind it to make it play but when you stop it stops so please dont misunderstand this is not a wind up and let it play music box. you can see inside where it plays when you wind it. also doesnt play well when shut. the carving into the box is a nice little feature i love. most music boxes arent like 100% sound but it definitely is a great addition to anyones music boxes. great for gifting just keep in mind it is small like maybe the length of a credit card at most maybe a tad bit bigger. still adorable though

She absolutely loves the beautiful wind-up music box, the sound is perfect and the box is so very unique.

I bought this as a birthday gift for my best friend who is turning 28. She is obsessed with disney movies, but Beauty and the Beast has a soft spot in her heart because of her late father. The box itself is pretty small....Like, fit in the palm of your hands small. But honestly I like it (I hope she does)! It is true that the music does not play by itself, you have to keep cranking it. I think that is a plus for some people and some not others. Just depends on your preferences. The sound quality is nice and clear which is what I was hoping for. The tune is "A tale as old as time". The speed the music plays depends all on your crank speed. Overall I really like this and don't feel embarrassed to give this as a gift. I see other reviewers say their box came warped, broke, etc....My came in tact all the way around.

This is such a cute music box! I was very pleased when I opened it because I wasn’t expecting so much detail on the box itself. It’s beautiful open or closed. One thing about the song itself is that some of the notes seem just a bit off, but there are only so many notes you can use with these things. It’s also fairly loud for a small music box, which is nice. I would recommend it.

Gave this to my friend for Christmas. She played with it for quite awhile. She really loves it. It plays the song very clearly. If you know a beauty and the beast fan this is a great gift.

So happy that I just bought it! This was so worth the money!! The box is gorgeous and has such a beautiful clear sound! My daughter in law loved the gift! I read through the reviews and many are good but some weren’t great. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed!

It is as pictured, however, I thought the box would be more sturdy and better quality. Although I knew it was hand cranked, I did not like that aspect. Purchased as a gift and am planning on sending it back.

I love these music boxes. I previously bought a Harry Potter themed one for my wife. Then I bought her this Beauty and the Beast one for another present. It is a cute little gift. It is lightweight and the music plays as expected.If you have a Disney fan or B&B fan in your life I think this makes a nice gift. It looks good on a shelf or desk as well.

Buenas acabo deber esta cajita yabque la habia regalado y la verdad que la visto bien pero solo le dado 3 estrellas porque la que yo eligi no es exactamente ya que los acabados no son pero si se ve cuca pero debo decir que si hubiera sido para mi la hubiera devuelto ya que la que me an traido era otra que ponia que costaba 3 euros menos.Pero como asido un regalo le a encantado.

This music box is smaller than expected but it is awesome. It plays the theme song for Beauty and the Beast. The sound it beautiful and depending on the speed of the turning of the crank, depends on speed of the music. It's very easy to turn and easy enough for even little ones.

Got this as a Christmas gift for my sister.The quality of the wood is decent and sound is pretty great and priced fairly.I'm really excited to gift this to her.
