During the quarantine, my kids (especially my daughter) have been watching a lot of food shows, such as Nailed It and Kids Try. They've seen people eating the fancy gold leaf coated donuts, and have been demanding to eat one. I keep trying to explain to them that where we live isn't exactly a fancy food kind of place, and that while we might be able to find a maple bacon donut, it is pretty much a given that we're not going to be able to source golden donuts. When I saw this, I thought I could make it happen.This is definitely powder, vs the more flaky gold leaf you see (and silver, of course). You absolutely want as little air flow as possible when you're using this. There is no shaker on it, so it just kind of comes out if you're attempting to sprinkle it. A brush would likely give you more control. But it will absolutely take flight and go airborne. I ended up with quite a few flecks of gold in my coffee which was sitting near the donut holes I was attempting to bedazzle.You don't get a whole lot of either variety, but then again, it's not like you're getting charged $10 each - it's $10 for both. My kids were both so excited this morning when they finally got to eat not only golden donuts, but silver as well. I tasted a bit of both, and I found they had no taste. My daughter thought the silver tasted metallic, but it sure didn't stop her from eating and enjoying it.This is one of those things that, as a mom, I'm happy to have in my "random fun" arsenal. This quarantine has been such a drag that it was nice to surprise them on a random Saturday.

I love baking and having extra things to put on top of cupcakes and cookies is great. I love the gold and silver powder but I question the price versus the value. I can find a similar product in a larger size in a box store that costs more; I'm just surprised at how truly small this was as it wasn't enough for two dozen chocolate chocolate chip cookies. I don't mind spending more to get more of a product, but when you start out with so little of it, it kind of makes this purchase seem unnecessary. I hope the makers of this learn to double the size next time they go to market. This version doesn't serve as a baker's dream ingredient; it's more like a prelude that leaves you wanting more.

Even here on Amazon, you can find larger bottles for less money. In my case, I received this free for purposes of review, so I'm thrilled with it without reservation, but those of you considering buying it should just be aware that it's a little more expensive than it needs to be for the amount you receive, despite otherwise being a great product.

(Trocken)Eigengeschmack gibt es keinen, außer man kippt die ganze Flasche auf eine Praline o.ä.Optisch kann man hiermit ganz verschiedene Effekte erzielen, bspw. ein leichtes Schimmern im Licht wenn man es untermischt oder man kann es direkt auftragen für eine Art "finish".Da ich vor kurzem auch mit Silberblättern begonnen habe, war das der perfekte nächste Schritt und ich muss sagen, ich hab daran inzwischen richtig Spaß gefunden die Speißen (bisher nur Gebäck) zu veredeln und es sorgt bei Gästen immer für besonderen Eindruck.

Having used the fine dust glitter decoration sprays before, this sprinkle straight from the bottle is better. The coverage of colour was easier to achieve and took less time. Mixed sized bits that you only notice if you pick a large amount up with your finger. Range from dust to really small coconut sized partials. Tasted of absolutely nothing. Totally didn’t notice either once on the cake and whilst eating. Just looked great. Would be happy to use this again and for larger cakes that need a complete dusting over, I would highly recommend. Good colour of both gold and silver and very effective. I would also like to add, that the silver is lighter then others I’ve used before and much better. It really shows up, even on a light coloured iced cake. Which in my past experience shows just how good the colour is.

Lo primero que voy a decir es que hay que tener en cuenta que hablamos de MILIGRAMOS, no de gramos. He leído en opiniones italiana y americana que esperaban recibir por 24€ 100gramos de plata pura y otros 100 gramos de oro puro... eso, por este dinero es simplemente imposible, sobre todo porque solo 30 gramos de oro ya cuestan más de 1000€... ni qué decir de 100gr...Teniendo eso en cuenta, que no es poco, vamos a hablar de este producto concreto. El oro puro y la plata pura no necesitan ningún tratamiento para ser comestibles, aunque, evidentemente no vas a coger una moneda de oro y te la vas a comer, éste va hecho copitos, tipo purpurina, muy, muy, muy fino, tanto que, la mínima brisa te lo vuela en un periquete.Aunque indica que es de grado alimenticio, la plata es plata y el oro es oro, así que se le puede dar tantos usos como queramos: Para decorarnos la piel, para decorar nuestras manuslidades o pinturas, para figuras de epoxy...Otra cosa que hay que tener en cuenta es que, aunque parezca que hay menos de uno que de otro, esto es, basicamente, porque la plata pesa más que el oro, por ende, visualmente parece haber menos cantidad, pero pesan igual.Creo que es muy recomendable, ya no solo para decorar alimentos u objetos, sino por salud, son minerales que tienen propiedades por si solos.

Me encanta hacer repostería, sobre todo la creativa, e inventar mil formas de decorar los dulces que realizo, por eso cuándo vi en el catálogo de vine este producto me lo pedí para probarlo, ya que me parece algo bastante curioso e interesante para días especiales.Hay que tener en cuenta que lo que estamos recibiendo es plata y oro, y por tanto no podemos esperar que nos vengan los dos botecitos a rebosar, ya que son dos productos caros, hay que leer bien el título del producto que nos indica que lo que trae son 100mg de cada, no 100g.El producto en sí es polvo muy finito y es perfecto para espolvorear por cupcakes, tartas, rosquillas... pero que las hagamos para una ocasión especial, ya que el producto tiene un precio bastante elevado y no es para usarlo a menudo, ya que con cada botecito tenemos para 2 usos a lo sumo.Como reflexión general de este producto, desde mi punto de vista me ha gustado y me parece un producto de lujo ideal para hacer una repostería para días muy especiales, pero que a no ser que tengamos un muy buen sueldo no nos lo podemos permitir para consumirlo a diario, ya que eso supondría un gran desembolso de dinero.
