Bright, Solid, Well-Made. An Excellent Tactical Torch.
Very bright. Tactical rear switch(yes, half-press tactical-on, full press stay-on). If you want a different mode use the front switch. If you want to keep it on High like I do and use it as a very bright tactical torch you can. I have a couple UltraTac flashlights now (also the S20 which I also very much like) and can say it is a company that makes the kind of product I like. No hype, just a well-made, solid, flashlight that works the way it should at a nice price. I don't need any silly names, designs, colors etc. I want a solid well made light first and foremost, with things like voltage protection, water resistance, well-centered emitters, nice beam color(both of mind are a nice glowing snowball of white with no green blue yellows purples etc.) etc. And I must say I very much like the different levels on both this and the S20. They are perfect for me and I never had any lights that were tuned in to my exact wants level-wise. Also I like how on high it stays on high with no ramping down after like 30 seconds...like I said the light does what it says on the tin. I use my S20 as my bike light for my 30 minutes rides and the high brightness stays that way the entire ride. Thank you UltraTac! No hype marketing about "turbo" modes that last very little. I emailed the company and got a response back within the day; I asked about low-voltage protection on this T15 and they said it kicks in a 3v so I'm going to put me an unprotected 3500mah 18650 high drain battery in this puppy. Kind of wish I could recharge it in the flashlight like the S20 but it's not that big of a deal. I see that have a couple different heads you can put on this like red and green which I would like to try out. I think they should make a UV head also because I'd buy that. Overall a solid torch with everything that matters to me, all at a more-than-reasonable price.

It was more like zero lumens
I received the flashlight earlier than expected, which was good. However, either the shipped battery was completely dead (and it's not a standard household sized battery) or the light was defective. I turned the battery around so that the positive was facing forward as instructed. Pressed the tactical switch, no light. Pressed the mode switch, nothing. Flipped the battery the other way, bupkis. I wasn't then going to run out and spend more to try and find a rechargable battery of that size (which is likely a special order) or a charger for those kinds of batteries. If the battery is included, it should be charged. If not charged, include a way to charge it. It was dead, so it was zero lumens for me, and right back to Amazon it went.

UltraTac T15
Found this to be a very well built and robust flashlight. The color of the white light emitted is good, and a bit on the "cool" side.....not yellow . Beam is very uniform at the center, with no dead areas, which speaks to the quality of the reflector and lens. That being said, the lumen rating of "1500" as stated in the advertising is not even close accurate. I would estimate the light output at between 750 and 800 lumens.

Awesome 800 Lumen Flashlight.
Nice light. Well built. Unfortunately not even close to 1500 lumens. As compared to my 1000 lumen flashlights I would say this is closer to 800 lumens. Other than that it makes a great 800 lumen flashlight.

Very nice, overall.; good value for the money.
Brighter than the usual T6-based lights, of course, but not as bright as I had hoped. Seems solid, and well-assembled; good value.

nothing else comes close for the money.
I've been carrying a AAA flashlight for 15 years now and nothing compares to this one. So many cool features I love the glow ring so if you drop it you can find it. I like the rechargeable attachment. and the output is second to none. I enjoy that it turns on at the same power you shut it off

Really Suprised!!! Good Torch !!! Priced Right!!
O.k my first tubeler tact. torch , and I'm glad I got this T15 , the review above says it all , No Hype stays on high with no ramping down after a number of mins. , throws a NICE! flood beam , the 4 modes are spaced closed which I like ,no little pause. , hold down for strobe( no double tap ) anytime you need it , even in half press , which is Freaking Awesome! Right at 1500lum. Or really close to it ,compared to other torches I have that are right on point with lum. measurement, hmmm what else ...... only con: battery could be a little more snug, it doesn't rattle but it does move just a little bit...anodizing could be a little better also.. these are personal preferences , this torch is a Great Buy! You better get one before they realize they got a winner l.o.l
