Absolute All-Star Superman (New Edition)

Great pencils and Ink for a Superman Comic. Attention to detail and panels were mind boggling.

Beautiful

Amazing story by dc but the book came damaged to me .

Great read, awesome paper quality

Truly one of the best superman story. The story starts normally then comes tragic incident, which sets the whole story especially the beautiful end. It's a character definitive story. It's simple It's Colorful and It's Impactful. A must read for those who thinks superman is boring or wants to get into it

Book is great in content and quality. Being a Superman fan I absolutely loved it. However cannot gift it to my kid as planned as it has adult content.Had intended to gift it to my 8 yr old on his upcoming birthday but will need to wait till he's 15 or so 😀

All star super man is one of the finest pieces of comic book literature. Although the stories may feel disjointed at times, by the time the climax begins, everything gets interconnected and we get a story that is mature and entertaining. The art is the icing on the cake.

I would rate 5 star for this greatest Superman story written by the greatest comic writer, But the condition in which I received the book wasn't great. Poor packaging service by Amazon.

An amazing piece of storytelling out of the DC continuity. Not an elseworlds per se but an alternative take on the Superman mythos by Morrison and Quitely

Un classique incroyable , All star Superman reste en Anglais pour les jeux de mots mais dieu sait que Superman est Bad ass dedans

This truly is the perfect blend of what makes superman cool in the comic-book world and what we all know and love about superman post- the 1970s movie franchise. If you're used to Grant Morrison, you know that he doesn't shy away from incorperating throw-back characters and multi-angular themes into his stories, and this book is no exception. A lot of people dislike this style for one reason or another, but with this story, it really works and draws you in. The story is about how Lex Luthor tricks superman into his death by over-exposing him to the sun's radiation, leading to a slow, drawn-out death as superman's cells oversaturate and "explode" one by one. The exposure to the intense UV light also changed his physiology: superman finds that after the accident, his strength has increased many times over, he's smarter, and more creative. Thus, the framework is set for Kal-El to live like there's no tomorrow and to make sure he makes a difference before he passes away; whether it's to finally tell Lois Lane how he feels about her, or making sure the people of Kandor find a safe home. Each chapter is another story in itself, telling of a "feat" or "achievement", likened to the labors that Hercules went through in greek mythology. All the while, setting the framework to the final showdown with Lex Luthor. Morrison makes a story that will feel real in the hands of a long-time reader, a casual fan, or even somebody who wants an introduction to the man of steel in comics. There really is something for everybody and I doubt you'll be disappointed. Just don't expect an awful plot like the Man of Steel movie that came out this past summer. All Star Superman really is what the world's favorite superhero is all about.

This book has everything a true Superman fan wants or even a casual Superman fan that wants to know more about the mythology of the character. This is both an extremely popular Superman story and yet it tends to get overlooked. The story was even made Into an animated movie with the same story, it is very emotional, and Superman is incredibly brave and strong in this book. The art is totally unique as well. Please buy this. I couldn’t recommend it anymore

La historia y el arte son geniales, altamente recomendable para fans y no tan fans.
