If there was a “zero/negative” star that would be my rating. The poke screws on, and very easily came loose - after just one month the item is broken. The threads are stripped and the pile will no longer attaché/screw on the base. The so called spring was so tight my 20 pound beagle would not play with it unless I was holding onto the VERY short rope attached. It was so short I tried tying in additional rope toy so she could reach it, and b/c if very rigid “spring” she wouldn’t play with it. It would spring back so hard I was afraid it’d pull her teeth out!Save your money and DO NOT purchase this item!! Cheap construction, and designer obviously trying to copy a better version yet this one is pathetic!!** Update 08/01/2018 The company responded and were nice enough to offer a replacement of the improved design. Design of the tug toy is being reviewed and improved upon, so hopefully my feedback will help.

My dogs love this toy but it only lasted 3 weeks and the rope broke already do you sell tge rope to replace it?

The media could not be loaded. My dog absolutely loves this. I did have to make a few modifications. We had to dig a hole and attach it to cement for him to quit pulling it out. He is very tough so he did this constantly updated the rope to a piece of chain with two carabiners to add his favorite toy, and it works great the rope did not last long as he was very smart, and figured out how to chew it off, we did try other types of ropes. He of course figured out how to chew those off as you can see in the video but now with the chain with the carabiners, it works fantastic. The best product for the end of it was a piece of rubber Kong ball that we Have still found very indestructible, and he plays with this toy constantly

My 5 month old Labrador pit-bull broke the first one by pulling the pole from the spike ruining the threads so it could not be reattached. Purchased a second one then snapped the pole from the spring at the weld within a month. Re-welded it back together and then one of the prongs on the ground stak snapped right off but my puppy enjoys playing with it. Cheap metal, rusts fast

Its hard to tell from the photo, but my issue with this item is in it's base. When tugged on it pulls on the base that is stuck in the ground and bends the pole, which eventually breaks off. I have a 3 month old Australian shepherd and this is the SECOND time he broke this product in less than two days. When the first one we received broke, I requested a swap, since I have only have one puppy I thought it must have been a defect in that specific product. I haven't even had a chance to return the first one and now the second one is doing the same thing. It is really unfortunate, because my puppy absolutely LOVED this toy, its just not durable.

My dog loved this until her pulled the pole apart and it was a wrap. Other than the design for the pole which wasn’t exactly safe for my dog. It was a fun toy and made quite well. I would suggest clamping the pipe down then tighten the Allen head screw more. I have a big German shepherd and pitbull mix 100 + pound dog a little dog you would be fine.

Great product but if my husband would have read the details he would have realized this is for SMALL dogs and his 70+lb American bully is sure to bend the aluminum pole off the stake.

I'd like to give it an honest review but I can't even do that as the product broke immediately upon poking it into my grass lawn. Stabbed it into the ground, pushed on it with my shoe to get it the rest of the way, and one of the arms snapped completely off at the weld. The weld was completely defective.Now I have to waste my valuable time to go return this. I've purchased hundreds if not thousands of things on Amazon. This will be the first one I've ever returned.
