FiiOFT1 32Ω Large Dynamic Driver Headphones with Solid Wood Cups

If you are searching for a quality over the ear headphone at a budget price, look no further. I have multiple pairs of headphones ranging from over the ear wired (Sennheiser, Audio-Technica) to blue tooth noise cancelling (Bose, Sony) and have enjoyed them all for the variety in sound and pleasure they can provide. I picked up the FT-1 due to the many glowing reviews I watched and read and I must say these do not disappoint. I had a few hour listening session (Sturgill Simpson, Steely Dan, Rolling Stones, Beatles) to go through a variety of my favorite artists and loved the sounds I heard.These are closed back, so the soundstage is a little condensed, but there is good separation in the instruments and vocals. I guess to use some subjective terms, I felt like the sound was warm (not really overly bass heavy as I had heard described), clear, and intimate.I found the build to be solid and fairly sturdy. The cups are comfortable and even after a couple hours I was still comfortable with them on.I am not crazy about the term "good for the money" but this is a quality product at a great price. If you are looking to upgrade your headphone "game" or a budding "audiophile" you should consider these headphones.

IF (big if) you have high-quality source material, then you will hear what this headphone is capable of. Just a bit of emphasis on bass (not too much), but otherwise smooth overall, musical, mids are clear, overall engaging, vocals are very clear, cable is kind of short. Voicing and tonality are spot-on. Great value for the price and what you get. I am very impressed. Comfortable fit (even with glasses) and I don't want to stop listening...it is that good! Great looking and great sounding closed back headphones. Build quality and sound quality are exceptional for this price. Even comes with a case that is on par with the case that comes with Focal headphones. For closed back headphones, they produce a suprisingly open soundstage. Very comfortable and easy to use for long listening sessions.

I've used these for quite a few hours now and they are plenty comfortable for me.The ear pads are comfortably soft and seal nicely. The head strap is fine. I don't notice any discomfort on the top of my head.The cables are decent quality but I dont really like it. I'm going to replace it with a more pliable soft braided one like I use on my IEMs. Personal preference. Most people won't even think about it.The sound quality is fantastic. I'm really enjoying these. (I am using these with various headphone amps/dacs and DAP)I've had no build issues. In fact I think they are quite nice and they look beautiful.I've seen the reports about the screws coming loose. Even if they did come loose, they could be tightened with a small star bit. Or you could easily replace them with a different fastener.Still.. not acceptable. I hope FIIO is addressing the issue.Since I've had no issues and they sound wonderful, I'm giving them a 5.I don't know why anyone would spend more.

I'm coming from K371's, which I really enjoyed. When the AKG pads gave out, I ordered Dekoni Choice leather replacements. The Dekoni pads made the sound darker and congested, leading me to seek something new.The FiiO FT1 is missing bass energy in comparison to the AKG, although the quality is still good. Given the increase in comfort, I'm very happy with the overall package. The cable could be better, I find it microphonic and stiff. If only they changed to a more supple cable that only entered on the left cup.TheHeadphoneShow on Youtube mentions a 3D printed TPU headband by a company called capraaudio, might be worth a look.

First of all, the sound quality from these headphones is first-class, especially with music. It's very clear and well-balanced. Well done. Concerning comfort, they're ok, but they don't really excel there; they cause my ears to hurt a bit after a while. I'm not sure why. They seem appropriate for the price, though. They are light, and the clamping force isn't so strong. Concerning build quality, they feel a bit fragile; you don't want to risk dropping them. Fortunately they come with a case, which mitigates that.
