Perfect for the parent of little ones who might just try to remove their vest. The clips require 2 hands to unsnap with 3 total pressure points to release them. They even included a fasten for the straps so that they don't come unbound from the vest when not in use. I also like that the strap between the legs has some padding and splits into a v shape for better comfort.

My daughter is 50 pounds and is 7 years old. I bought a size large. I love it. And she loves it too! She thinks its going to be so fun, I tested the vest in the sink, it floats and water proof. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this swim vest and also how nice it looked. My niece loved being a “mermaid” in the pool all day and it kept her afloat the whole time so she felt completely secure and had so much fun swimming around. I definitely order again from this company!

this is very cute, however, this is not for 1 year old at 25 pounds. This is much bigger than i expected, she will probably be able to wear this next year at 1 years old.

This is a small. The chart inside says 1-2 yo and weight is 24-33 lb. Oakley is at the max for this. He’ll be 3 in January and currently weights about 32/33 lbs. the fit overall is accurate and I like that it’s snug on him how a life vest should be. There’s an extra safety button on the clip so kids can’t undo it, honestly I had some trouble undoing it also.Unable to test for buoyancy or water right now
