Excellent product

This is essentially a wireless Bluetooth adapter for <anything that has a 3.5mm jack>. It won't pair with phones or tablets (and there's no real need for this anyway), but it will pair with things like TVs or......airplane audio systems. The transmitter is very small - about the size of a large coin, but lighter. You get a carrying pouch, a USB-C charging cable, and a dual 3.5mm adapter. Apparently 1.5 hours of charging will give around 20 hours of playback. Overall, it's an interesting little gadget with unconventional uses if you need it.

The Avantree SoundJet R1 Bluetooth adapter arrived as described and looks just like the photos advertised.I got this for a recent long haul to Thailand. I wanted to watch a movie on the plane without taking out my noise cancelling AirPods. I hate the earphones you get on the plane as they don’t block out any noise and are usually flimsy. Most people will know what I’m talking about normally one headphone works the other doesn’t haha.This solved this problem for me, it means I could use my own AirPods and get great sound quality. It was easy to set up and functioned as expected. Great value too!

I recieved this Bluetooth transmitter free of charge from Amazon Vine in order to review.What I really like about this transmitter is that it has a focussed purpose. This has been well designed and packaged to provide a Bluetooth option when travelling on a plane, where the inflight entertainment is always provided using awful wired headsets provided by the airline.The pack contains the transmitter, which has been kept as small as possible, a travel pouch, USB cable for charging and dual socket adaptor for the airlines that use that format.Supporting AptX & Bluetooth 5.3 means that there should be no audio delay/lipsync issues, especially if you have earphones that support AptX. (I use the same for my TV - well worth it to minimise delay). I couldn't find the battery size, but they promise 20 hour life, and that doesn't require a large battery. My tests encountered no issues, this was very easy to use.If you have been annoyed by airline audio this is well worth putting in your travel bag.

A useful gadget for connecting whilst flying. It is well made, charges quickly, easy to operate, has good battery life and comes with a useful soft carry case. Overall it's good and works as intended.

I tried this as a way to share audio between two headsets. It works great for that. However, I tried to use it for the in-flight entertainment on my latest flight (777, United Polaris) and the adapter was not compatible with it. Which was a disappointment. I wish they included additional adapters for all the possible standards. I understand that is hard, but I felt it was a bit of a miss.

I bought this to use on an international trip (with United) where it wasn’t clear if I’d have Bluetooth at my seat or not. On the way over, I had in-seat Bluetooth so the device wasn’t needed. On the return flight the plane was older so I needed to use this. It took ages to get connected successfully to my Taotronics headphones, and once connected it worked, but there was a slight time lag for playback. This was just about bearable for watching something light, but if I’d chosen to watch a film it would have been useless. I know there is an inevitable time lag but I’ve used other similar devices without this issue in the past. I’d thought this was something I could continue to use with my electric piano (which has midi, but I use the midi to connect to the Simply Piano app), but the time lag will be an issue.Basically, it works, but not well, which makes it pretty poor value. I’d probably just take my headphone cable in future.

I have a set of noise cancelling earbuds I love to fly with. I generally don't use the entertainment systems on most plane, but for long flights they can stave off boredom. Of course, they don't work with bluetooth headphones, though. You either need wired ones or use the junky ones the airline provides.This is a great little gadget that solves that problem, as well as a similar issue you might have for any device that requires a 1/8" stereo wired jack for headphones or audio out.It comes as a kit with a charging cable (uses USB-C, standard), the device itself, an adaptor for the dumb double connector some old planes still use, and a nice little travel pouch to keep it together. Charging is fast at easy and it lets you know it's done.Pairing is simple... make sure your headphones are off and not connected to other things (the manual says to disable BT on your phone, but that's the purpose and idea) before starting. You then hold the power button on this device and put your earbuds or headphones into pairing mode. It pairs automatically and shows that it's connected. You can actually pair and connect with 2 different headsets at the same time - it's a good way to share audio with a travel companion.It works well in general. Note that you will want to "Pair with aptX-LL / Adaptive-supporting headphones for low latency" per the product listing, or there will be a slight latency. Check your headset specs for this.Overall it's a nice little problem solver and I recommend it.

Lo probé en el avión y es muy sencillo de emparejar con los dos pares de auriculares. Lo único es que las películas en Español no son es castellano en vuelos internacionales y al final pusimos la tablet.

Cet ensemble pour l'avion est très bien pensé puisqu'il vient avec sa petite pochette qui permet de ne rien perdre.Il n'est pas utilisable qu'en avion. En effet il me permet d'utiliser mon iPod classique avec des AirPods. Ce qui est interessant pour les irréductibles comme moi qui souhaitent maintenir en vie les appareils hors ligne.Avec ce produit c'est possible ! Le blanc match d'ailleurs très bien avec le design Apple
