Jif Creamy Peanut Butter, 28-Ounce Jar

I'm a peanut butter lover and this has been my "go-to" PB for ~ 50 years. I just figured this out and WOW, I'm amazed it has been so long. I love the creamy - it's lucious, tasty and not too dry or oily. I have one issue with this - it tastes so good & I really really love this peanut butter - I can't stay out of the jar ;-). I get big spoonfuls throughout the day & I go through these jars very, very fast. If I'm not careful and don''t balance exercise with PB consumption I gain weight!! Peanut Butter is a wonderful source of low cost protein for your diet. It's also vegan. Jif is a great brand - in my opinion - give it a try - you just might get hooked like me. As an aside - many years ago I had the opportunity to go to the Proctor & Gamble facility in Cincinnati where they make Jif. It was fascinating. When you take the paper cover off the jar you'll find a "dimple" of peanut butter on it. This is built into the process. After the jars are filled they roll down a curved track. The peanut butter thickens as it moves and as a result it puts the "dimple" in place. This was done deliberately - so you can "see" the results!!!

Jif has been number one in my book for many years when it comes to peanut butter. I find the reduced fat to be just as creamy and delicious as regular peanut butter. Except it has less calories and fat which makes it healthier. I love to make oatmeal and put a large spoon of peanut butter in it. The peanut butter melts and makes oatmeal a great breakfast.

I am glad Amazon carries this because it's often sold out in local stores. Most shoppers must realize the taste is the same as the full fat peanut butter. Shelves pty quick. Buy two, it's shelf stable It's harder to find but JIF also makes a lower fat crunchy version. My personal favorite Cooking tip.....Peanut Butter is Not 🚫 just for sandwiches. This is so smooth that you can spread onto fruit and veggies. Childhood snack was celery filled with peanut butter and topped with raisins. We use peanut butter in our protein drinks, in homemade quick bread, muffins, cookies, etc. Smash bananas & peanut butter make delicious Elvis waffles You can carefully frost a cake with peanut butter. It tastes great as a sauce for chicken. Homemade granola bars count on peanut butter as the " glue" Adding peanut butter to recipes not only dials up the flavor but you are adding protein. No cholesterol but watch your portion size. Need to experiment more with main dishes & update my review. Enjoy!
