Thought-provoking and captivating
Started reading this on the advice of a friend. Loving every page of it. Makes me wonder and question (positively) about many aspects of my life and each chapter leaves me happier than the previous one. I"m at 40% of the 2nd book and despite a crazy schedule, I make sure I read at least a chapter per night (lots of small chapters, I love this format). Perfect to read before bed and set your brain and mind to go to a beautiful peaceful positive place too...Update: I'm at Book 6 and still loving every page of it!

Some of the best books!
The Ringing Cedar Series are amazing. Regardless if this woman is an actual physical being or just an idea...her ideas are what we humans need to implement into our world. She's knows what's up and how to make a change. She describes what to do, how to live, the lies of our past and basically to keep searching for the truth. The first book doesn't really get into the nitty gritty of what she is trying to get across. Anastasia (book 1) sets up for the rest of the books so we have some clue as to where and how this woman came to be. The rest of the books are so inspiring, like a breath of fresh air and light to such a dark world. I've read all books and am probably going to go through them again and pull out the main topics that are important and that can be incorporated within my life. If you are looking for answers to the Universe, this book is probably not it. If you are looking for a book that reads like a novel, but has superb ideas, tools, and a look into our ancestors then try these books out...but be sure to get past book one before you make your judgments.

Amazing
I tried to get these books in my local library rather than invest in purchasing them myself. And as it turned out, purchasing them was the best investment. I get to read each amazing book and then pass them onto my friends. I've become the library as it turns out!Similar to the Perelandra books and co-creative gardening, I totally resonated with the concepts and ideas presented in that we are much more than we can see and hear. And that Nature is us and we are Nature.Humbly approaching life and all its wonders brings about such joy and such insights.I'm currently reading Book 4 with as much fervor and interest as Book 1.Grateful for the work and energy that went into creating Anastasia. If you've been wondering what's going on in the world and looking for some alternative approaches, you'll want to dive deep into the Ringing Cedars Series.

Beautiful Ideas
I purchased these books after only reading a few reviews of them. I just knew that they contained information everyone needs to hear. I received the entire series, but I'm only just now finishing the third book. They just get better and better. So far, the books have given me a different perspective on our origins and have given me faith that humanity will find its way back to love and kindness. Beautiful ideas from a beautiful source. If the first book doesn't speak to you the initial time you read it, I encourage you to read it again. Read with an open heart.

An interesting work
This is a difficult series to categorize. I wanted to wait until I had completely finished the 9 volume series before leaving a review. The essence of the series boils down to this: it is the story of the author, Vladimir Megre, his encounter with a female recluse Anastasia and how she relates her world view or philosophy of life to him (and vicariously to the reader). I mentioned it is a hard work to categorize because parts of it are philosophical, somewhat religious, some parts are instructional and give some ideas on building your home (yard), garden and living a healthy life and some parts are so fantastical to be likened to a Disney movie. (I'm speaking of the interaction of some of the characters with the wildlife in the Russian wilderness) At points in the series, the philosophies expressed seem to come down rather harshly against organized religion, the reader is left to wonder if this is by design or is it based upon decades of Russian leadership, such as Marx' notorious statement regarding religion being the opiate of the masses. It is also hard to review the series because it is so wide-reaching and touches on so many different aspects of life and some of life's mysteries throughout the series. For example, in this series you will find mention of UFO's, alien life on distant planets, the secrets of the Egyptian pyramids, mention of the Federal Reserve, reincarnation, remote viewing and much, much more. At the end of the series the reader might very well wonder whether the tales related are fiction or non-fiction (sort of a semi-autobiographical account). However, perhaps that is not the most important question to take away from reading this. It might be more satisfying to read through the series and compare it to your own world view and philosophies and see how they compare and if your views are challenged or changed from what you have read.

Change your Life - Read the Books.
Once I moved past the woo-woo nature of the narrator's voice, I found myself weeping at the beauty of the information put forth. Truly, everyone should read these books. I'm gifting them to my brother for Christmas in hopes that he'll read them, then join me on a new path to land ownership and use. Finished the whole series in two weeks, and feel transformed for the better. Considering kids? Read these books. Considering quitting your job? Read these books. Wish you had another way out? Buy the series and start there. For me, it was necessary to read every book - just the first one didn't compel me. They're a set, and should be read as such. Enjoy!! Worth whatever the cost.

Love Anastasia but Megre is an ass.
I'm on the second book and I'm very irritated with having to listen to Megre's story and opinions. He is an ass who didn't deserve this experience IMHO. I will skip all his bull-puckey and just read the parts with her wisdom.
