I had my eye on this Govee RGB table lamp for a while but hesitated buying it because of the price -- more than twice that of some comparable units.But after a hand-made Etsy RGB lamp finally gave up the ghost after many years, I decided to pull the plug on this Govee -- and discovered, to my surprise, that this little puppy is worth every penny.Basically -- the lamp goes to eleven!First of all, the lamp is clearly made to a higher standard than its lesser competitors. The see-through band at the lamp's bottom -- and the touch controls that light up -- are cool "surprise and delight" features.But what really sets this lamp apart is the astonishing variety of effects it displays. And these aren't composed of simple horizontal or vertical bands of color, as other lamps produce.No, the colors here appear in a host of different shapes and sizes and move in many directions.And if you use this lamp on your desk, you can set it to the "reading" setting, and it will produce a suitable abundance of bright white light.All in all, this lamp just blows me away, and trust me, I've enjoyed many, many color-changing novelty lamps over the years. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

The Govee RGBIC Smart Table Lamp 2 has been another great addition to my growing Govee ecosystem. I bought it for my home office desk, and it fits the space perfectly.The lighting is bright, vibrant, and easy to customize. I like being able to switch between clean white light while I’m working and colorful lighting when I’m gaming or just relaxing. The RGBIC effects look fantastic, and the app makes it simple to create different scenes and automations.Since I already have several Govee products throughout my home, this lamp integrated seamlessly into my existing setup. This is such a fun little lamp. The colors are bright, it looks great, and I really like having all the different preprogrammed lighting modes to choose from. It makes it easy to change the mood of the room without having to spend time adjusting everything manually.My favorite feature is definitely the music sync. It reacts to the music really well and makes the whole setup feel a lot more lively, especially if you have people over or just want some ambient lighting while listening to music.The app is easy enough to use, and there are plenty of options if you want to customize things beyond the presets. Overall, it looks good, works well, and is just a genuinely fun addition to the room.

I love this lamp. So many fun and beautiful colors, color modes, and light levels. Sets a mood for any scenario. I love that it works with my Google home so I can use it as a nightlight before getting into bed without getting up to turn the switch off.

very nice i love that it really brightens up my room along with my other govee lights. i love the pattern it gives when its on dreamview and the difference options ur able to choose from. love love love. only thing is i thought it was a speaker too for some reason but i guess not. assembly took like 5 minutes. the size is bigger than i thought in all honesty. i like how u have the option to adjust the lightning on the actual lamp and on the phone.

Not only is this matter enabled as it makes it available for remote operation with Alexa, Google Home and Apple HomeKit. This makes the device available for all the systems out there. I really enjoy the lamp and have it as my bedside lamp. This makes it excellent for controlling the brightness with its touch enabled controls and selection of colours and other mixed light scenes. I purchased it in the Amazon Prime sale for approximately $50 and at that price point it is a great buy. I can highly recommend this lamp for creating that mood in the bedroom prior to sleep and its automations are also excellent. It’s a quality product and I can highly recommend it.

😃🥰 This thing honestly cheers me up every day☺️ its only been 1 week and im still gushing over how cute and fun this lamp is😃PROS:• Clean, modern, smooth curves.I love that the branding logo is at least blended in nicely and not tacky.. pretty minimal. Not tacky.• I LOVE the DIY functions. Choosing your own colors from the color wheel is awesome. There are many colors to choose from ! #1 reason for buying this lamp was the DIY functions 🥰• Price was okay, but still a bit steep. I bought 2 for a total of 162$ ... (you got a deal if you bought 2)80 bucks is a bit steep still... even with all this lamp does. I would not pay more than 80 for this lamp... especially because it's not cordless like the updated one.• I love that they update the app with new options for preset scenes! I didn't even expect that and then I saw new ones appear one day.• I love that you can dim the background color in the DIY Sketch section. Helps a lot with night time chill time... plus looks great paired with bright colors in contrast to the dimmed background.I'm an adult female and I have so much fun playing with this lamp.All in all I LOVE this lamp. The cons/improvements I list below, are just me being very critical of the color limitation.CONS / Improvements• I wish you could get deeper colors.. like a deep striking red, a basic 'green crayon' green, a forest green... etc but it's just not possible.The greens are lime green to aqua.The reds aren't red, they are hot pink to coral pink even on the reddest setting.• The lamp is very bright, even on its lowest 1% setting. I can't have these on at night when I'm sleeping... which is kind of a bummer. Sometimes we have to turn them off when we're watching tv at night too, because theyre just so bright. Even the various sleep preset scenes that do have darker dimmed colors.. it's still quite bright.*** Correction though ... I found in the DIY Sketch that you can actually dim the main background color.Huge plus !Now night time wont be so bright and I can really make other colors pop against the dimmed background.• Wish it were cordless of course, but I am sure they will make a cordless version since they already did with the Table Lamp Pro JBL speaker one. Hopefully they keep these ones smaller like they are but make them cordless.• For the preset 'scene settings' ..... you can't actually change the colors to anything you want.For the ones you CAN customize (there are a few you 100% can not) There is a list of 8 different color "combos" to choose from. If you don't like a color used in any of those 8 color combos, you cant do anything about it.So for my favorite scene settings,I can only use that scene if I use one of the 8 pre set options provided for that scene.This is shown on one of my review photos.However, I have recreated some of the "preset scenes" using the DIY/Sketch function. That enables me to use whatever colors I choose.. but still there are limitations around this.For example, the "Fire" Preset Scene, you can't choose other colors for that fire movement scene at all. Which sucks. It would look very cool in other colors. *** EDIT --- I stand corrected after exploring some more. In the DIY section, you do have "fire" as an effect and you can change the color of it... including various colors it will morph into. It just doesnt show on the actual 'fire' preset scene. Very happy to have realized this ☺️• The Ai function is super cool.. and I know it works awesome on their other products such as their light panel or curtain lights... this one has limitations only because of the inability to use darker or duller color. For example in my last photo you can see I asked for a moody greyish blue sky... slate grey/slate dull blue would have been awesome with white clouds... but it can't do those colors (slate greyish blue). HOWEVER now that I know I can dim the background significantly in the DIY section, I can maybe pull this off.Finding a way to realllyy have "millions" of colors to choose from would be great. I'm being really picky here lol I do love the color options it does have. 😍🥰With most variations of any color on the DIY color wheel, outside of the most obvious variations, the difference is barely barely noticeable, even if on the app they show as very different shades or tints of blue, there is barely a difference once on the lamp...... Though there often IS a difference. You can see the slight change when you switch back and forth, for the most part.You get a lot of pink, since the entirety of the red are variations of pink.. plus the actual entire pink section. Much of the "purples" are actually fuschia pink. You have to go very blue to get a regular "purple".There are way less variations of green, purple, yellow. Green for example, there is only lime green and quickly goes to aqua, or yellow on the other side. Basic green crayon color would be awesome.Purple usually looks more blue or fuschia.. depending what colors you pair it with it or whether purple is totally by itself.Or if you dim the background color, your 'purple'(fuschia) will probably turn more towards actual purple.When I use a red background, (which shows hot hot reddish pink to orangey red.. never real red).... i can get a purple heart on it by making the heart blue. It then shows up purple. So there are tricks. ☺️I am really happy with the custom colors though despite these few limitations haha I'm making it sound worse than it is. It's an awesome lamp. 🥰I wish I could draw/sketch white and grey mountains... like light grey with contrasting dark grey and slate grey, with white tips mountains. I will play around with it some more though, because in the DIY "Fire" effect, I see some 'slate' greys possible be used. So it seems possible?Another example of this limitation:🎅🎄Christmas colors.. there are none.... Since red is hot pink and green is lime green. So the preset christmas scenes do not give christmas vibes at all.Same with the Halloween... purple is never purple enough unless you have zero colors near it... or place enough blue next to fuschia to turn the fuschia a nice purple.The halloween presets that have orange and purple next to eachother, the purple never shows well enough to look Halloweeny. In my opinion.St Patricks Day Preset Scenes are capable of lime green only...Other than that,These lamps are so awesome. 😁I'm totally buying more Govee products 😏😛 I ordered the Uplighter off their website just days after I bought these lamps😛One small annoyance is I ordered from the Govee website 5 days ago and my uplighter still isnt here.I went through the website bc it was on sale for 170 + an extra 8$ off coupon code.......5 days later today the lamp is here on Amazon on sale for 160.....So I could have got the lamp within 24hrs had I been able to use Amazon but they lagged 5 days on matching their amazon store sale to their website sale. Hopefully it arrives today.

Indudablemente valió cada centavo invertido! Es hermosa, elegante y muuuuy relajante; la cantidad de funciones de iluminación que alcanza con la app que funciona al 100 permite una experiencia inmersiva, ayuda a desestresarse, relajarse, ambientar la habitación e incluso conciliar el sueño. Bellísima! De los pocos productos que se ve igual o hasta mejor que en las fotos!

Excelente y muy brilloso. Me encanta las simulaciones de temáticas que hace y que lo puedes sincronizar a tu pantalla si es que ya tienes la tira led de Govee también. Tengo esta, la tira led, y el uplighter de Govee, y le dan toda la atmósfera que necesito a mi cuarto, sea luz para concentrarme en el trabajo, tracking de mi pantalla para jugar o ver películas, o luces para relajarme.

I have two of these lights in my office, and absolutely love how customisable the lamps are.The lamps include touch controls on top for on/off, brightness and cycling between basic scenes, but the Govee app really shines for these.The amount of scenes that come pre-loaded is great, and being able to browse user made scenes, create your own, and curate them with AI is just insane.I especially love that the lighting on these is seamless; there's no ugly LED band that appears on the lamp, and with enough tweaking, there's no lag on the scenes that change light colours.My only complaint is related to that lag, it's quite difficult finding a scene where the colours don't jitter a bit. However, of you stick to the basic scenes or just use the lamp as natural coloured light, it's ideal.It also gets very bright when using the lamp in the white colour temperature mode, and the lamp itself is really stylish and modern, the base is super cool.And lastly for people who like tech specs, it plugs in with a DC barrel jack, with a cable that's about 5 feet long. The lamp also has crazy comparability with Home Assistant via Govee Cloud add one, but I've not dove deep enough into that yet!

I have several Govee products and I have watched a lot of growth over the years. What brought me back toGovee was not only their string lights, but the customer support is amazing. And they probably would win the popularity vote if there was one. Now it is getting to the point that when Govee releases another product, I want to buy it whether I need it or not. This table light is no exception! I wanted it just because it's Govee and who doesn't want a table side light that can do a heck of a lot more than just be a light. The scenes are amazing and there are so many to choose from. So not only can it be a white light that you can change the brightness but it can be programed to similate a sunrise when you get up or a sunset when you go to bed or any other combination in between.I had a night light with a smart bulb in it and was quite happy with it. But the Table light seemed like it would be the perfect companion. No matter what, I like this light, but there are a couple of things that could use help. This goes for just about every light strip that Govee has and it has to do with the music feature. For the most part it syncs well enough to most beats, but what bothers me and a ton of others is that when there is no sound, it still dances with light. So it's not exact. One day they will address this issue. The other issue that is not a problem for everyone, but certainly is for new people and even more so for older people who are not into apps and programing lights to do what they want it to. The presets are great, don't get me wrong, but there is a number of people that have issues in not knowing how to do even basic stuff. Don't be intimidated, there is plenty of support and plenty of communities who are willing to help. I just wish that Govee had their own How to Videos. But the growth has been amazing. I also think that prices are premium and they don't have to be. But once you bite down on the purchase, you will have a lot of fun with their products and for that reason I'm in.
