Dangerous!
This hammock tore from the moment I got in. Very unsafe! The description say it holds up to 1000 pounds, but it couldn't hold 200 lbs. Also it says to set it 4 feet oof the ground, but the material stretches so much if you don't set it at 6 ft. then it stretches and your sitting on the ground. This item is not safe and made very cheap. I was notified that a review was written and I hadn't written it! Someone wrote it was comfy and great for the family...NOT SAFE! NOT HONEST! DO NOT BUY THIS DEATH TRAP!The company refunded me, but never sent any comment about how I fell and if I was OK. My spine hit hard and I had a bad headache for 2 days. This company doesn't care. Buyer beware!

Spacious Relaxation for the Whole Family
I recently received this 13ft Square Camping Hammock, and I'm thoroughly impressed with its performance. The generous 13-foot square design provides ample space for multiple people—I had my two teenage sons and myself lounging comfortably during our weekend camping trip last month. The fabric feels sturdy and well-constructed, easily supporting our combined weight without any concerning stretching or sagging.Setting up this hammock is straightforward with the included ratchet tie-down straps, though I did take time to ensure proper installation following safety guidelines. I appreciate the thoughtful addition of the net pocket, which keeps my reading glasses, smartphone, and other small items within easy reach rather than lost in the forest undergrowth. While some reviewers have mentioned concerns about the durability of attachment points under maximum weight, I haven't experienced any issues with my 220-pound frame plus my sons. That said, this hammock isn't as lightweight as some specialized backpacking models—something to consider if you're hiking long distances, but for car camping or backyard use, the extra heft is a worthwhile trade-off for the exceptional space. Pro tip, it pairs nicely with a large mosquito net.During our family reunion at Lake Michigan, this hammock became the unexpected highlight of our outdoor setup. My brother-in-law, who owns a significantly more expensive brand, was genuinely surprised by the comfort and stability. We spent a pleasant afternoon discussing fishing prospects while gently swaying between two sturdy oaks, the hammock easily accommodating our middle-aged frames without complaint. I've found that following proper hanging guidelines—keeping it no more than 18 inches off the ground and inspecting the connections before each use—has ensured a safe and enjoyable experience every time.

Happy!
The media could not be loaded. I'll update once we get some good weather and I can set it up, but at first glance everything looks good. The ratchets are heavy duty, the construction quality of the hammock is good, and even the bag it comes in is pretty good. If they didn't cheap out on the bag, that's a good sign that they didn't cut corners elsewhere. My kids and I weigh about 450 lbs together, so it should be plenty strong enough for that.FYI, the bag is pretty snug, but the trick is to roll the ratchets inside the hammock. I had better luck getting it all back in when I did that.Edit: I've been thinking about how to install this, and I think the trick will be to anchor the ratchets pretty high, like 8ft or more, and then leave the straps kind of loose. It's been a while since high school physics, but it seems like a bad idea to anchor the ratchets 5 ft high and then tighten the heck out of all four of them to keep the hammock taught. That would preload the hammock with potentially hundreds of pounds of force before anyone ever gets in it. Like when you hang a slack line, you have to use a rope that can hold way more than your body weight, because it has to deal with the horizontal force of the rope being stretched tight on top of the vertical force of your weight. And because you can really crank down on a ratchet, this kit sort of encourages you to do the exact wrong thing. Hammocks don't come with ratchets, they just have loops or knots to loosely tension them, and it gets tight when you lay in it. Stay safe out there everybody!

Rachets are junk
I made sure all ratchets were down. We had about 600 pounds on it and one of the ratchets broke. My kids could have been seriously injured. The ratchet mechanism won’t even lock anymore because of the way it broke.

Hard to set up
This thing is big! I know the pictures show it and the listing tells you the size but in person it's huge. Finding the right area to set it up correctly can prove to be a challenge, especially if you are taking this to a camp site or somewhere you have never been before. It does come with a storage bag but the zipper was already pulling away from the bag when I took it out of the box and getting this beast back in it is not the easiest. Honestly nothing about this is the easiest. Set up takes time and effort. You really need to make sure it is secure and well hung. The instructions say to keep it pretty close to the ground but once people are actually in the hammock it will sag and touch the ground so we had to put it up higher. After one use there were noticeable signs of wear so I'm not really sure in the long run how long this will hold up.
