Can you play Fifa 13 on the Wii U with just the remote or do you need to buy nunchuks?

You can play Fifa 13 on the WiiU with just the remote.The question is why would you want to, it's a poor game. I have returned to playing Fifa 09 (using the Wii emulator mode), I think it is a much better game.

Is there a player career mode

According to my son, yes. There no ultimate team but there is career mode.

Can you play this game with classic controllers?

Probably. I have Pro Controllers and Wii Controlers. It can be played with them, with and without nunchuks...
