Really great devotional. Beautiful cover inside and out. Everyday I read it is a blessing. Totally recommend.

I like the original language. It is a bit more direct. His words motivate me daily to reflect and look inward to see if my spiritual walk is on target. I have purchased and given away so many copies. I have used this now for coming up on 9 years. Starts my day right.

Oswald Chambers still has living insight into the heart of the reader even after he has been gone since 1917. If the reader will ponder his writings it will not only reach the heart but change your life. This is imitation leather but it is supple with a comfort for the hand.

I have loved this devotional for decades and my copy was worn out. I did not want the revised paraphrase as I have never had issues with Chamber's actual words and so was trying to avoid it, and "Classic Edition" threw me off. Returned it and will search anew for the edition I prefer.

Not the common shallow devotional, this book has huge impact on my spiritual walk with the Lord. Sometimes the language may be difficult to understand, but if you read it over a few more times it won’t be hard to get the message.

This is my favorite devotional book of all time. Also, it's nicely bound with a soft leather. It holds up nicely to daily use.

I bought this for a friend because I already have a copy and absolutely love it.

Boring and I have found the text really dificult to read. I am used to read books in english( I am from Brazil) but this one has a dificult vocabulary

I have loved the writings of Oswald Chambers for years, but silly me didn't realise he had a daily devotional published. So I ordered one, the "classic edition" it only arrived today, and plan to start using it as of 1st Jan 2019 but could not resist dipping into it, and so far I love it. It's thought-provoking, up-lifting and enlightening. I am going to have a good year enjoying this book.
