Arrived safely and on time

The NEW formula is appalling and does totally the opposite of what it says on the tin. There is no soothing effect when you put them in, the consistency is watery not gel like. Whatever is in there causes the rims and corners of my eyes to itch. It dries my eyes rather than moisturises. And it certainly does not whiten. AVOID! I have always had very dry eyes and, after having tried many many other eye drops, was delighted when I found these some years ago. The ORIGINAL formula was the only thing I'd found that moisturised and soothed my eyes, with the added bonus of also effectively whitening them as well. I continued to use them without any complaints or issues. Up until they changed the formula last year (2024). I am mega disappointed. I have gone back to trying other brands on the shelf, but nothing measures up to the ORIGINAL Murine formula. :(

No whitening as suggested which is a shame. I have to use the separate eye brightening drops after putting these in, so don't bother purchasing these if you're expecting bright whites. Moisturing enough to allow me to work a whole morning at my laptop without putting more in. Two drops in each eye, twice a day does the trick. Not sure if these trump other brands really. They're quite pricey compared to some purely for moisturing so probably won't buy again.

Leaves my eyes feeling fresh.

I still have a nearly full bottle of the original 'Murine Bright & Moist' so was able to compare with this new formulation. The new one makes my eyes itchy and sore straight after using and the whitening effects are minimal. The old original formula instantly whitened and made my eyes 'sparkle' without any side effects and was soothing as well as cosmetically amazing. I used the original for many, many years but will now be looking for a substitute. Very disappointed.[Substitute found: no side effects of itching or stinging and bought from the store where 'every little helps' under their own 'brightening' eye drops brand. Cheaper too.]
