Much Improved
Victoper 3000 Lumens Bike Lights Set - price when reviewed unavailableThis is a much improved version of a product that I have previously reviewed. My main criticisms of the previous version have all been dealt with, namely:- This version is properly waterproof and stands my testing which involves running the front unit under the kitchen tap. It should stand most types of UK weather.- The mounts are great and should fit on most bike frames.- The rear light is really good and of reasonable size (it was an afterthought on the previous version).Overall therefore this is a great bike light set with a powerful front light with multiple modes. The front light beam is a good combination of a spot beam with enough spill to give a good view of immediate surroundings out to the side. The rear light is still not as good as branded alternatives I can think of but it is plenty good enough for riding in normal conditions.

Good for the price but not 3000lms
There's lots of these sets available on here, the main difference tends to be the design and options on the front light. The rear is good, a wide light band with lots of pulsing and flickering modes to be seen. Quite bulky on the rear post but other than that, no issue. The front - again a large unit but compared against an older 800lm Cateye there's no comparison - the Cateye blows it out of the water. There is a USB charging point on there which might stick a couple of percent on a smart phone if you were absolutely stuck but it's not a proper power bank.Note that both lights use the older Micro USB standard (2 x charging cables included)For the tenner they're listed for, I don't think you can have any real complaints but these are more to be seen, than to see.

First Class
I was surprised to find that this is a solid, high quality bike light. It's made of Aluminium, but seems to be completely water-resistant. The main beam is really powerful and lights up the road extremely well. What I particularly like is that you can long-press the off switch and it will simply switch off, instead of having to cycle through a whole load of strobing nonsense, like most lights nowadays make you do. The battery seems to last for about five hours on full power and ten hours on the lower setting, which is very good, and certainly much longer than I am likely to be cycling for in the dark.

Perfect solution for my bike
These were easy to afix to my handle bars and bike and while they give me a clearer line of vision, they also help other road users to see me. Very pleased!
