This bulb is heavy and well built . If you are using this I would suggest putting it in a sturdy lamp base because of its weight. I use this for light therapy to treat my rosacea and it's been helping with the inflammation and redness.

It is good red light bulb. My only complaint is that the seller claim it is 36W bulb. Really, it use only 21W of power. It is my mistake. I haven’t read they use 18x2W LEDs to calculate the power of the bulb.Anyway, the bulb is working well the price is good and comes with short information sheet, too.Update:Problem is - after 2 month the bulb stops working and Amazon don’t give the contact information to sellerSo the even if in advertising promised 3 years of guarantee you don’t get any. Don’t buy that.

I ordered two of these and neither turn on. If I could give negative 5 stars I would.Update; When these failed I immediately purchased different red lights from another company though Famurs immediately refunded my money and offered to replace the malfunctioning lights. I told them it was not necessary as I already purchased a different set. They emailed almost daily trying to to get me to reconsider the offer and update my review. I declined each time as felt my review was honest. However the lights I bought from the other company were burning my plants, so I ultimately took them up on the offer of free replacement lights and I’m glad I did. The new set they sent arrived in working order and they are not frying my plants like the ones I bought elsewhere. Pleasantly surprised!

I was really excited about using this bulb on some of my plants (I have a red light therapy device for my skin but I never knew it worked for plants!). It's even nicer than the product picture shows; it's large and it casts a lot of light. The bulb itself is also just cool-looking (not that it matters, but I really like the look of the base).Unfortunately, it was so heavy that none of my lamps were heavy enough to offset the weight of the bulb. It weighs around 13-14 oz, which might not sound like much but I couldn't get any of the desk lamps I tried it in to stay stable (they kept threatening to tip over and it barely fit in one of them due to its sheer size), so it didn't work out for me.Others might not have any issues with this--in fact, the size of this bulb is what makes it so great (it's a big size for this price range); I think you could definitely fit more than 1 small plants under there or one huge plant. If you happen to have a spare floor lamp or are willing to use a hanging lamp I doubt you'll have any issues. But for me, I'd need to buy a whole new lamp or install a hanging one (which I'm not willing to do as I don't want a hanging lamp in this area--not to mention I don't need to waste yet more $$$ on this endeavor). Otherwise, it seems like a nice bulb for the price range, which is why I'm giving it 4 stars.***Oh also, if you're buying this for your skin or "wound healing" instead of plants I'm not sure I'd recommend it for that. You might get better results with a TheraBulb NIR-A Near Infrared Bulb - 250 Watt. Like I said, I have a red light therapy device for my skin (used it for years) but it also has infrared and I never thought it did much without the infrared (the one I have has different LED lights that can be used all together or independently). I actually have a Therabulb too, and I prefer to use it over anything else because I think it works best for that. To be clear though, I did not try using this LED bulb on my skin and studies have shown that either 660nm OR infrared (at 850nm) can be beneficial for skin (it's just that an NIR bulb is better for "healing," plus it feels awesome and supposedly penetrates deeper).

Got this to replace the other brand which starts with AB that crapped out in a week. This one is still going strong.

Product was nice, but only worked for 4 months.I only used them every once in a while in the evening. I went to turn them on and they do NOT work. I'm very disappointed. I purchased 3, for 26 dollars each. Bad rip off and no warranty came with them as posted in the advertisement.

I have a fig tree in a container & I bring it after 3 months of cold weather to start leafing out & getting early figs
