I had a horrendous teacher for physics. I bought this book about 1.5 months away from the test and taught myself the entire curriculum from it. I got a 5 soley because of this book. It has almost all the information needed to take the test and offers lots of practice and explanations. The font is legible and the information easy to absorb. Would recommend buying it earlier as supplemental help rather than cram though.

The book contains numerous errors, including several incorrect solutions. Additionally, several pages were marred by significant ink splotches, affecting readability.

I also happened to get the Princeton Review version, and I can say PR's version is much more in depth for less cost. There were also careless and honestly embarrassing mistakes, particularly in discrepancies between the practice test questions vs. the answers (for instance, one time it clearly said in the problem to use I=0.5MR^2, yet the answers proceeded to use I=0.4MR^2). The only advantage of Barron's over PR is that Barron's explicitly says how every single point in the FRQs are earned while PR does not. Overall, buy Princeton Review's version. And no, I am not paid or affiliated with PR in any way.

I purchased this textbook to help my child prepare for AP exams. While the content appears helpful, some pages were not properly trimmed, which affected the overall quality of the book.
