T.W Evans Cordage 11417 2-Ounce Wax Sail Kit with Needle, White

I got this to whip the ends of rope to keep it from fraying. The string is a good weight and holds together well, the needle is strong enough for what I am doing so overall pretty happy witb it. I did get other string colors too so I can color code the ropes and I would say thisnis the most waxy sting for better or worse will depend on what you are doing with it.

This stuff is a dream to work with. It is heavily waxed and makes the perfect whipping twine for line up to about 1/2 inch. For bigger line, a heavier twine would be in order. The included needle is not a true sailmaker's needle, but it is adequate.

I know that the description for this product says that it is for repairing sails but it is also perfect for whipping the ends of rope - probably for any rope up to an inch or so in diameter. If the rope is larger than that you would most likely want to use a larger sized whipping cord.Fair price, perfect for what I needed, and arrived on time.

It has strong string to sew up My pants and tents. The string and needle Is a perfect match, It takes the guess work out of matching a needle with the string

Este hilo encerado lo uso para coser cuero y piel. Me agrada que el hilo es redondo y no plano como muchos otros, lo cual le da un mejor aspecto a las costuras. Muy recomendable.

I intended to use to repair a pop up camper. I could not use the included needle because it was too big but the cordage was perfect for the job.

Lo uso para cocer cuero. Lo recomiendo. Aunque es algo caro y no es mucho hilo.
